Bread for Breakfast

Bought this for breakfast one day (I have forgotten how much it costs)

Whole wheat bread

with strawberry and cream (only a bit)

    I think it's RM0.80, or RM0.90, kam siong har.. My boy eats this kinda cream bread everyday too, he will request for it and never gets bored ger wor..

      The packet wrote MYR1, I checked it at 711 today. Your son accepts whole wheat bread?

    Yup. The price is like what Princess said. So many brands in the market now. But this one looks so pitiful with the cream in the centre.

      This one is special because it is whole wheat. I don't think there are other cream buns that are whole wheat.

    I like Gardenia's...the bread, not so much their buns. All sweet, artificial flavouring.

      I don't think can get natural flavouring nowadays even in expensive cakes sold in bakeries.

    this bread is selling at RM0.90, I know because I bought before, haha!! in the same range they have non-wheat normal bread which is at RM0.70

      I think the price increased already. Today I saw the price printed on the packaging is MYR1.

      Whole wheat is supposed to be more healthy than plain bread but the cream is not.

      I actually have never bought them anywhere outside my office, so I don't know LOL! I guess you are right, it is cheap because it is in my office, not because of Penang..

      Honestly this one is quite nice unlike other horrible ones with too much cream and too sweet and the taste too artificial.

    This is something new to me. I must try the bread for quick breakfasts.

    These days I need to visit the 7-Eleven to see their new food stuffs as I was surprised to see the CP brand easy meals are available now.

    Ah these buns are something my elder girl is starting to like. So far bought a corn bun (corn is something I will never buy for myself hehe) and a chocolate one. I'm expecting to be buying other flavours soon! But I steered her away from Massimo yesterday coz I don't like the texture of the normal sliced bread.

    Tasted this type of bun before, but never like the fillings. I prefer plain bun with a cup of hot drink anytime.

      This whole wheat bun is unlike the other cream buns. The strawberry taste is quite subtle.

    For this kind of bun i dont fancy wholemeal as it can be quite dry. I'd go for normal bread instead.
