I got a shock when I saw this - so many people!
No place to even squeeze in
Question Time
If you are coming down the stairs from point A, would you:
X: Squeeze your way to point B to queue
or
Y: Merge slowly into the queue at point C
?
So is it X or Y for you?
This is the same case as the question I asked here before.
Me. Z? I'd gor real early to avoid the crowd at peak hours (when I was teaching, I'd reach the school at 6am...in the dark, just to avoid the cars on the road - we start at 7) or turn around...go and catch a cab or something. I never have any patience to queue...as I'd probably get so angry and have a heart attack and drop dead on the spot when I get so so so angry seeing how people here would do Y or I may end up in a fight even as I would just scold whoever tries to do that. Tsk! Tsk!
ReplyDeleteActually this is inside the station and the time is quite early 7 something. No point going to work at 6am when normally the office unlike a school is not open so early.
DeleteY for me, hehe.. Coming from stairs better kua, can take 'short cut' to C..
ReplyDeletePeople don't purposely take the stairs to go C lah.
DeleteThose people from B, they all came from A isn't it? I don't see any entrance near B. So I would probably suck it up and go to B to queue. The same, it really depends on whether the situation is a queue or a crowd where many lines of people congregate into one place.
ReplyDeletePlease refer to the post after this for your answer. :)
Deletepeak hour!! and as I wondered why there's a crowd past 8:30am at the station of my place, I guess from your photo I know "everyone is back to work!!", hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteI would merge into C, cos there's even not a single inch and chance I can go to B.. and people are sure pushing and squeezing..
You are a smart person to not walk against the flow.
Deletebiasa la when peak hour. Jadi sardine. Me...see got place then queue there lo
ReplyDeleteNot really. Same stations never have this congestion. You also pandai, don't walk against the flow.
DeleteIf that's a LRT station and there are 'formed' queues lining up to scan your ticket, then I'll have to go with X. If it was the previous question where there are no formed queues heading towards the escalator, then it will be Y.
ReplyDeleteAiya, why you walk against the flow?
DeleteOoh, if I saw that line I think I'd turn and run the other way. Too many people! Good questions though - I'm enjoying these posts questioning social codes.
ReplyDeleteThis is inside the station so you will board the train again to exit at another less congestion station? :D
DeleteFirst thought, I will turn around and walk away from the crowd. But if I must choose between X & Y, my choice is X as everyone is waiting in line, If I am not mistaken, I can see the people are waiting in line to queue at B. If that's the case, then it is good to choose X.
ReplyDeleteYou also one to walk against the flow.
DeleteShamelessly Y lor. Malaysian mah..
ReplyDeleteActually IMHO Y is the correct thing to do to clear the congestion faster.
Deletescary huge crowd!!! is this norm everyday?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, to answer your question, i will choose X, unless i can't even move to B, then no choice to go for Y.
No, not the norm. Really cannot move lah to B lah since you can see from the photo, the B area is fully occupied already.
DeleteAiyo pengsan. What to do, throw out sense of decency and cut way in wherever possible lor.
ReplyDeleteSlowly merge in lah, what to do, gotta exit the station.
