Early Birds

On Sunday 15.oct.2023, I woke up at about 5.20 am so we went for early breakfast at Sepetang Coffee shop Taman Desa in the slight drizzle. As it was early, there are many roadside parking space so we parked by the main roadside and walked in the rain to the coffee shop.

*** Sepetang Taman Desa ***

7.25 am - my nasi lemak tiny prawns curry MYR 8.5 nett and his hot cham drink MYR 2.2 nett. The rice of the nasi lemak is cooked with santan and salt because it is salty. Tasty but it would still be tasty without the salt.

7.31 am - his seafood mihun soup MYR 12 nett. He let me try some. I think the fish is big ma yau fish.

*** Ye Ye Cafe Taman Desa ***

Want to buy some groceries at De market supermarket but it opens at 8.30 am so we ate some snacks at Ye Ye Cafe which is located opposite De market supermarket and waited about 30 minutes for the supermarket to open.

7.59 am - Ye Ye Cafe is located under a car park.

8 am - Ye Ye Cafe Taman Desa.

8.05 am - two half boiled eggs part of the hot drink, toast and eggs breakfast set MYR 8.5 nett. The orange is the pepper shaker.

8.07 am - his hot cham part of the breakfast set. My tea, coffee and Coco hot drink MYR 4.3 which is thick, sweet and with rich coco taste.

8.11 am - the toast which is toasted with I think magerine so it has a crispy sugary taste. The kaya is acceptable. I ate most of the toast.

8.24 am - we ordered one egg tart MYR 2.50 nett to try. The egg custard tastes eggy which is what we like. The pastry crust doesn't have lard taste and doesn't have butter taste so it is passable.

*** De market supermarket ***

8.57 am - bought this Marmalade Papaya to try at MYR 8.99 per kg.

Also bought this locally grown melon at MYR 29.99 per piece with a promo price of MYR 49.99 for two so I bought two and gave one to my friend.

*** his dinner ***

12.34 noon - my last food of the day which is two wedges of orange.

4.29 pm - his sai guat 1 pax bkt without rice MYR 18 nett at toh guan bkt. I watch him eat as I have brushed my teeth and close shop for the day.

*** Welcome Gifts ***

9.48 am - bought the above from de market supermarket and giant supermarket:

Kid 4 flew in to visit the elderly so our welcome gifts from giant to her are:

1. Nescafe alta Rica 100g MYR 27.15 nett

2. Olive oil 250 ml MYR 14.10 nett

Also bought the following for her from de market which she plans to reimburse us:

1. Chicken fillets MYR 21.98 per kg so:

MYR 8.75 for 398g

MYR 8.05 for 366g

2. Eggs 15 for MYR 11.90 nett

3. Ridsect MYR 15.9 nett

*** status ***

The elderly can speak today and is fed milk via a tube through the nose. After fidgeting here and there, the elderly got a headache.

Around 6 pm, Nurse tested blood sugar before giving milk, reading 13 quite high, gave insulin jab at stomach.
