On Wednesday 18.jan.2023, went to Midvalley Mall to do another round of CNY grocery shopping.
11.51 am - ala carte orders: chicken cubes MYR 8.90++ and fried mackerel fish MYR 11.90++ so we took the remaining chicken cubes home for dinner and ate all the fish.
11.41 am - 4 types of curry gravy.
11.41 am - deep fried gourd, cabbage and cucumber for the banana leaf set rice.
11.44 am - two sets of banana leave set rice MYR 12.90++ each. We took just one scoop of rice each because we don't want to eat so much rice.
Also ordered lemon ice drink with no sugar MYR 5.9++ and mango lassi MYR 8.9++ which taste like it is from a bottle drink.
4.50 pm - broccoli for dinner.
Grocery bought today.
3 days to CNY! Can't wait! Are you ready?

ReplyDeleteSomehow my mil enjoys CNY shopping. Brought her to the smaller supermarket to buy some stuff. Not a lot but for her to cook beef rendang. She wanted start cooking and freeze for CNY.
Not yet done cos we haven't bought mandarin oranges yet. Oh your mother in law is staying with you all already for CNY.

DeleteRice is free flow for banana leaf, but guess few try to maximise on that these days!
