Saw this poster - Must Try! 2 for MYR 7.60 and 1 for MYR 4.10 - New Curry Puffs that contain Egg, Chicken, Peanuts, Anchovies and Sambal Chili. Will you buy one or two to try?
They are greenish in colour in the new flatter shape. I wonder is the green colour from pandan leaves? I still prefer the previous almost cylindrical shaped curry puffs so I do not buy any nowadays.
Old Chang Kee at One Utama now has a limited number of seats for dining in compared to previously.
I just had Old Chang Kee curry puffs recently, I don't think I will buy the nasi lemak puffs to try as I do not like peanuts and anchovies in my puffs
ReplyDeletebecause peanuts and anchovies are like snacks people eat while watching TV.
DeleteBad enough that there was the nasi lemak burger, nasi lemak without nasi. Tsk! Tsk! We have those deep fried bread buns with the nasi lemak sambal and slices of cucumber and we do not call it nasi lemak bun, it's our Malaysian burger. Kids call it Doraemon as it looks like what the cartoon character always eats.
ReplyDeleteU mean that the buns look like Dorayaki?
DeleteI think the Chang Kee at Damansara Uptown has closed down. So far I have only tried the one at 1 Utama. Must check out this nasi lemaak one.
ReplyDeleteHehehehe, if you do, please let us know whether you like it or not.
DeleteInteresting...
ReplyDeleteBut I probably won't buy too. Hehehe
same here.
DeleteI wouldn't mind buying two to try if I come across the nasi lemak curry puffs.
ReplyDeleteGood, you are adventurous to try new creative food.
DeleteOh, I saw that puff in Singapore the other time, but I did not try it, so how did it taste like? I ended buying the original ones..
ReplyDeleteI did not buy so I do not know how it taste like.
DeleteUntil today I have yet to try Old Chang Kee puffs.
ReplyDeleteGuess you won't be trying them then.
DeleteThe reviews I saw on FB were pretty good. I'd try if I see them.
ReplyDeleteOk, if you go try, please update us on with your review, ok? :)
