White and Purple

After reading TM's post about the different colours of bell peppers, I saw them in the supermarket and bought them to try.

I just cut and eat them raw. The light and dark coloured bell peppers/capsicums do taste a bit different but I like the taste of all the different colours. My friend could not stand the raw taste and said they taste better when stir fried with garlic.

  1. I don't think I can eat them raw like that, hee hee

  2. My girl loves these, will buy the different colours but I do not think I've seen purple here. I'm like your friend - not a fan of the green taste - I did mention that in my reply to Libby's comment on my post today.

    1. Oh, so you can detect the green taste in the sauce then.

  3. The only time I eat raw was in salad. Usually I cook it.

  4. I prefer them raw than cooked. My favourite is the yellow. I haven't come across white ones nor tasted them yet.

    1. I guess you will like the white ones if you like the yellow ones.

  5. I can't eat them raw like that but would add them to salads. I have not had these white and purple ones yet.

    1. If you happen to see them I guess you would be buying them to try too next time.

  6. I like the yellow one, it tastes sweeter than the green and red..

  7. They're pretty if you combine a few colours. I don't like the taste myself.

    1. Even after they are fully cooked, you still don't like the taste?
