Mango salad - MYR8.90 - this dish is super duper spicy hot (I think due to the chili flakes)
Clear Tom Yam soup (small portion) - MYR12.90 - this soup is spicy hot too.

ReplyDeleteyeah, Thai food is nice and always so appetizing..
DeleteSour and a little spicy is appetizing to me.
DeleteAny place that has clear tomyam soup option is a decent Thai restaurant :D
ReplyDeleteerrr, you mean to you?? :p
DeleteThis restaurant is operated by Thais so should be decent enough.
DeleteYes, to me at least XD
Delete:)
DeleteThai!!!! I super-duper like!!! And even more so if it is spicy!!! Reasonably-priced too. Slurpsssss!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour wife would love this super duper spicy. :)
DeleteI miss good pineapple fried rice!
ReplyDeleteFry one yourself? :)
DeleteShould be easy to get a ripe pineapple there, right?
DeleteMy SIL don't take pineapple... =(
DeleteCook normal fried rice for her and pineapple fried rice for yourself?
DeleteI don't like it if the food is super spicy until I cannot eat. I prefer if they let the customer request if they want it really spicy.
ReplyDeleteyou are right, i think the flavors have to make a balance so that one doesn't outshine another.. too spicy until i cannot taste the rest would not be a choice for me.. :)
DeleteBut STP's wife loves super duper spicy. These dishes are meant for her I think.
Deleteerrr, i am curious since you mentioned your "friends who love eating spicy hot food went to Thai Kopitiam and ordered the following dishes that turned out to be too hot to handle even for them" without mentioning yourself.. so you were not there and just sharing their dishes here??
ReplyDeleteI was there too. I edited my post too many times until I left myself out, hehehe!
Deletehaha!! how could you have left out yourself?? you are most important to yourself~~ :D
Delete:D
DeleteSuper spicy is not for me too! But I am sure this is what they call shiok shiok.. ears also burning, right?
ReplyDeleteIntestines also burning. :p
DeleteI love Thai food too but have yet to try this place. Last time I lived in Taman Desa and frequented many eateries around Kuchai Lama. I guess this shop is quite new.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to try a real Isaan Thai Food @ Lai Thai in Section 17's Happy Mansion flats which is quite cheap but to my fussy satisfaction. Isaan is a place at NE Thailand where the poorest people used to live, so their cooking varies.
Yes, I have read about this Thai food but never got a chance to go try. Thanks for your recommendation. :)
