Pineapple tarts

I love to eat pineapple tarts but during this chinese new year I did not eat any so I am craving for it. I only want to eat a few pieces and usually one container has about 24 to 30 pieces so I did not buy any for myself.

Then one day, I saw this pack of pineapple tarts (photo below - technically they are not tarts since tarts are fillings in a pastry base with an open top not covered with pastry) with only 10 pieces at MYR5.50 so I bought one pack. I ate only 3 pieces and gave the rest away as I find the fillings to be too sweet, not tangy enough and the pastry to be too crunchy - I prefer the pastry crust to be doughy and chewy - what my sister would term as "not thoroughly cooked pastry dough".
