We ordered a combo set from the lunch menu - a small bowl of assam laksa, a small bowl of curry noodle and a plate of beef rendang nasi lemak for MYR16.90 only.
Ala carte: Assam Laksa noodle MYR10.40 and a big piece of fish is included as shown in the photo above. This is one of the better assam laksa that I have tasted.
Iced Ipoh White Coffee - MYR2.90 and for the four of us, the total bill came up to MYR30.20 (nett prices are listed on the menu).

Rm30 for four is quite okay, right?
ReplyDeleteYes it is but the combo set noodle is of smaller quantity.
DeleteThe Sarawak laksa looks very "lemak". Nice or not?
ReplyDeleteNext time when you flying over to Sarawak either Kuching or Sibu, do let me know. I bring you eat some nice laksa.
My friend has a cafe in PJ, calked 7th Mile Kitchen. He serves authentic Sarawak food such as kolok mee and laksa. Search the FB and give this cafe a try.
This laksa is very tasty but it is not Sarawak laksa. I have eaten nice Sarawak laksa at Hai Siang kopitiam in Bandar Puteri Puchong.
DeleteThank you for the offer, will let you know if I go to Sarawak.
Thanks also for the recommendation. Will check out your friend's place when I go to PJ.
Seeing the foods makes me crave for it, hehe...
ReplyDeleteMe too, hehehe...
DeleteThis Ah Cheng laksa has been around for many years already. Long before it became famous, we used to eat here too (eCurve) and back in those days, a set of asam laksa + curry mee was only RM6.90.
ReplyDeleteNow food prices have gone up a lot these few years.
DeleteI don't mind to have laksa once a while, sourish and spicy, yummy~
ReplyDeleteI like sourish food but not too spicy ones.
