MYR1 only

We went for the MYR1 chicken promotion for dinner a few evenings ago at the Canton-I restaurant in the Gardens. We are not required to order any other food in order to enjoy this promotion but we did because this is after all our dinner.

Roasted Whole Chicken - MYR1

Wanton noodle - MYR13.80

Stirfried Carrot Cake - MYR13.80

Prawn dumplings - MYR6.80

Hong Kong style Steamed Rice Noodle (Cheong Fun) with prawns - MYR8.80 and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they put the sauce in a separate bowl without me having to request for it. I guess many customers requested for it to be served this way until it becomes the default way of serving.

Apart from the above dishes, we also ordered a bowl of rice (MYR1.5) to share, a glass of flower tea (MYR6) and a basket of salty-egg-yolk-cream (lao sar bao) buns (MYR6.80). Total bill for four came up to MYR72.50 inclusive of four packets of tissues (MYR1 each), 10% service charge and 6% gov. tax.
