I love to eat pineapple tarts but during this chinese new year I did not eat any so I am craving for it. I only want to eat a few pieces and usually one container has about 24 to 30 pieces so I did not buy any for myself.
Then one day, I saw this pack of pineapple tarts (photo below - technically they are not tarts since tarts are fillings in a pastry base with an open top not covered with pastry) with only 10 pieces at MYR5.50 so I bought one pack. I ate only 3 pieces and gave the rest away as I find the fillings to be too sweet, not tangy enough and the pastry to be too crunchy - I prefer the pastry crust to be doughy and chewy - what my sister would term as "not thoroughly cooked pastry dough".
My boy loves pineapple tarts.
ReplyDeleteHave you made your own pineapple tarts for him to eat before?
DeleteI don't really like pineapple tarts, I find it's way too sweet for me, hehe!!! =]
ReplyDeleteI have eaten some which is tangy and have the right amount of sweetness (just a bit sweet) only - very delicious!
DeleteI love eating pineapple tarts too! I love Amway's pineapple tarts, they tasted great.
ReplyDeleteGuess Amway's pineapple tarts would be expensive.
