Ye Wen BKT Sri Petaling

On Saturday 3.feb.2024, he suggested that we eat brunch at a new bkt eatery near 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling.

*** Nestle ic angpow packets ***

12.26 noon - need to buy MYR 10 worth of Nestle ice creams at kk mart to get this 3 foc angpow packets so I bought a musang king ic stick MYR 7.50 nett and a chocolate cone MYR 3.50 nett. Total price MYR 11 nett to get these 3 pretty ice cream angpow packets. We ate the two ice cream standing outside kk mart. He bought two packs of joss sticks and one pack of recycling bags for the elderly, around MYR 14.70 ish.

*** Ye Wen BKT Sri Petaling ***

10.17 am - we ordered two single pax portion bkt: 1 dry and 1 soup, each MYR 20 nett. The dry bkt is very flavourful.

10.17 am - a plate of oil rice big portion MYR 2 nett to share by us 2 and a pot of bkt soup for 1 pax MYR 20 nett. A pot of self selected tea leaves is MYR 6.50 nett. He selects chrysanthemum tea leaves.

10.10 am - the new bkt eatery in Sri Petaling which is located a few shops away from 126 Kopitiam that occupies two corner shop units.

10.41 am - total price is MYR 48.50 nett.

*** Crispy Pancake at 126 Kopitiam ***

10.24 am - walked past this crispy pancake stall located outside 126 Kopitiam so ordered a custom made cheese pancake MYR 7 nett.

10.42 am - freshly made cheese pancake

10.43 am - the crispy pancake batter tastes like kuih kapit. The cheese is soft and folded up inside the crispy pancake. Overall taste is a bit sweet.

*** Daily Drop-in ***

11.26 am - saw that the elderly just left the siew yuk and rice kid1 bought for him yesterday on the dining table. Kid3 stir fried this overnight siew yuk and both of them finished the reheated siew yuk.

12.15 noon - the Elderly bought two packets of nasi lemak from the market so kid3 didn't serve him the meat and braised egg MYR 1.50 nett we brought but asked the elderly to eat the nasi lemak which the elderly ate just a bit, didn't even finish the chicken. Kid3 spoke to the elderly to say next time just buy 1 pack and not 2 packs.

    Tomorrow I am going to the bank to ask for ang pow packets for my mum. Hope they still have stock.

      I am sure that the banks will still have stock. You can walk to all banks in uptown to ask for angpow packets even if you don't have an account there.
