Geriatrics

On Wednesday 6.Dec.2023, the elderly went for neuromedical appointment at the hospital at 8 am.

*** Sepetang Coffee shop ***

This coffee shop in Taman Desa opens at 6.30 am so we are out of the house at 6.22 am.

6.41 am - my very early breakfast of tomyam mihun with fried pumpkin and vegetables curry MYR 6.50 nett from the vegetarian stall. I like to eat this mihun because it is very soft.

6.36 pm - his pork yimi MYR 8.50 nett. He also ordered a small cup of hot cham MYR 2.20 nett.

*** Starbucks Danau Desa ***

8.30 am - from Sepetang Coffee shop I walked to Starbucks. Ordered the breakfast set MYR 9 nett which consists of a doughnut and a coffee. I selected cold brew, very refreshing. The doughnut is very tasty, only slightly sweet.

8.31 am - breakfast set MYR 9 nett. He picked me up from Starbucks at 12 noon and went to Midvalley Mall because he wanted to buy blood sugar test strips from Caring who is having a promotion for the strips.

*** Leong Ya Kitchen ***

8.06 am - one day we will try the paper wrapped chicken at this eatery.

*** Mak's Chee Midvalley Mall ***

12.46 noon - 4 wantons and 2 sui gao MYR 16.90++ as tasty as before.

12.46 noon - I believe this is his favourite rice dish with lard MYR 16.90++

12.49 noon - my favourite dish beef tendon a d brisket noodles MYR 15.90++ for a small portion. Shared it with him.

12.57 noon - my portion of his rice.

1.12 pm - total bill for 3 items MYR 57.65 nett. After this he went to Ah Cheng Laksa to drink a glass of hot cham aka coffee mix tea.

*** Xmas Decor ***

2.56 pm - I was surprised to see the Xmas Decor at centre court midvalley mall. 

*** Status ***

1. Elderly 8 am neuromedical appointment.

2. Kid1 met them at the hospital

3. Reached their turn at around 10 am.

4.  The doctor who has a dual specialisation in Neurology and Geriatrics gave them an hour of thorough consultation and set up an appointment for the elderly in the geriatrics clinic next March.

5. Not restarting Pradaxa yet. Wait another 3 months.
