Thick vs Thin Mee Hoon

On Saturday 1.jan.22, we went to buy breakfast and lunch for the Elderlies.

12.40 noon - this is thick curly meehoon. This meehoon will stay springy forever even though it is soaked in soup for a long time. Therefore, fish head Mee hoon usually uses this thick curly meehoon.

1.14 pm - this is the normal meehoon which is thin and will soak up all the soup in the bowl. I ate this remaining meehoon from the previous day with pickled green chilis.

12.50 noon - his lunch of sui gao dumplings soup wanton noodles MYR 7 nett from Million ocean coffee shop.

  1. I prefer the thin new hoon. Rarely see thick curly mee hoon been served here.

  2. I too prefer the thin bee hoon. But the thick bee hoon will be good for Vietnamese noodle.

  4. I always prefer the thick ones. And I never order the thin meehoon in plain soup form... which I notice is what you like. :)

    1. I always order thin mihun cos I like soft soft mihun. The thick ones are springy QQ so I don't like them.
