KM Kitchen Restaurant

On Friday 13.aug.21, we stayed home and ate the food we bought on Thursday 12.aug.21 so no deliveries at all.

*** Wednesday 11.aug.21 ***

9.54 am - Breakfast for two, this Kong Nam Mee which is somewhat unlike the Kong Nam Mee we ate in 2014 apart from century egg which all Kong Nam Mee must have. Unlike in the sense that this gravy does not have egg in it. Good thing is this noodle has a lot of ingredients so that is a big plus point.

1 pm - Shared lunch for two pax. Pork chop rice set with Kam Heong gravy. The Kam Heong gravy is provided in a small plastic bag. I like that this rice set has a tiny portion of yin choy aka amaranth greens.

1.14 pm - my portion. The pork chop is quite thick.

5.17 pm - our shared dinner of stir fried Mee hoon. On the sweet side. Though it is not soaked in gravy, I detect the fragrance of tomato sauce which I like.

All 3 meals on Wednesday are ordered from this KM Kitchen Restaurant which has been around for a long time. The famous food writer featured it in 2012 in her article here but I only discover it after pandabox showed it to me.

3 meals for 2 pax for 1 day cost about MYR 33 nett inclusive of the delivery fees so on average it is MYR 11 nett per meal. Affordable.

  1. Fried mee hoon for me. Nice thick pork chop but never order Kam heong flavour for pork chop.
