Brew House EkoCheras

I see Brew House Pub/Eatery almost everywhere - SS2, Sri Petaling, Kuchai Lama, Puchong, Subang, TTDI and I have only been to the one in SS2 a few times but my friend has not been to any so when I saw a branch at EkoCheras Mall, I decided that we would eat lunch there.

They have a new daily value set lunch which is available everyday from 11.30 am to 3 pm which is very convenient as many other places would have value set lunch during weekdays only. This menu offers more items than the one back in April 2018 in SS2: MYR Prices shown on the menu needs to have 6% SST added to it.
1. Thai Basil Minced Pork Rice 10.8+
2. Sausage and Egg Fried Rice 12.8+
3. Japanese Curry with Pork Cutlet 14.8+ (I ordered this dish)
4. Kam Heong Seafood Rice 13.8+
5. Claypot Pork Belly with Salted Fish Rice 13.8+ (my friend wanted to order this dish but was afraid that the pork belly may be too fatty so we did not order it)
6. Sweet and sour chicken with rice 13.8+
7. Salted egg chicken with rice 13.8+
8. Pork meat ball yee mee soup 12.8+

9. Nissin Soup Noodle 10.8+
10. Spaghetti Carbonara 13.8+
11. Spaghetti Pork Bolognese 12.8+
12. Nyonya Pork Ribs Curry with rice 13.8+ (my friend ordered this instead of the pork belly dish)
13. Braised Pork Belly with rice 13.8+
14. Chili Pan Mee Spaghetti 11.8+
15. Grilled Chicken Chop with Fries 13.8+
16. Thai Style Fish Fillet with Rice 13.8+ (I have ordered this dish before back in 2018 and I like it).

Nyonya Pork Ribs Curry with rice MYR 13.8+ (6% SST = MYR 14.63 nett). A decent meal with quite a lot of pork ribs in the curry.

Japanese Curry with Pork Cutlet MYR 14.8+ (MYR 15.70 nett). I kept almost all the rice, let my friend eat half the pork cutlet and finished the potatoes in the curry myself. The curry is sweeter than the nyonya curry. Also a decent meal.

Total bill for 2 pax is MYR 30.30 nett - good value for money because the set lunch includes a soft drink and one scoop of ice cream (vanilla ice cream).

Brew House at EkoCheras Mall. The decor is that of a pub but there are many families bringing young children and the elderly to eat lunch here because of the very good value set lunches. Is this chain here to stay for a long time based on this fact?

  1. Good choices. I would order what you and your friend had ordered now and then plus the nissin noodles too if it comes with luncheon meat.

  3. This name sounds familiar. I may have seen one at Mutiara Damansara. Don't know if that is the same one or if it is still there.

    1. Nearest one there listed in their website is either Sunway Giza, TTDI or SS2.

  5. Set up a branch nearer me then I will help them to stay haha. It reminds me of Green Spot at Curve, looks like a drinking place but has decent food.

  6. I think this place would stay longer compared to other type of outlets unless they no longer offering the set lunch. I would say tht their set lunch is value-for-money and offer a wide variety of choices...And it is a family oriented place and great place for gathering/celebration.
