We ordered our food based on this list.
NanYang Pork Burger with Fries at MYR 15.90++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 18.45 nett). I ordered this burger because I wanted to eat fries and they did not disappoint. The fries were better than those served in fast food chains because they were fleshier. I like the pork burger because of the thin hard dry slice of flavourful pork chop which tastes almost like the pork chop in macau pork burger.
Pork knuckle wanton noodles at MYR 13.90++ (MYR 16.12 nett). Best eaten with the pickled green chilies provided. My friend did not like the strong alkaline taste of the noodles but since I have a high threshold for the alkaline taste, I could not detect it and I had to help my friend by finishing the noodles so I was very full after this meal and did not need to eat any dinner for this day.
A glass of milk tea and a glass of mixed tea and coffee at MYR 5.90++ (MYR 6.85 nett) each. Both drinks are cold enough so they taste good.
NanYang Cafe at EkoCheras Mall.
We then spotted this colourful sign that says "Nyonya Famous".
Oh, it is a nyonya eatery.
So my friend bought nasi lemak crispy chicken for dinner at MYR 16.90 nett. The chicken is fresh and the spices are tastily strong.
Our two receipts. I don't think we will visit this mall again because we prefer to go to Midvalley Mall for our weekly grocery run although the parking rate is very much better at MYR 2.12 nett per entry during Sunday.
Pork knuckle! I want!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!
DeleteI love burgers and I would probably pick that too.
ReplyDeleteHHmmm, you might not like that piece of lean pork chop, lolx!
DeletePork burger. I want that. I like my fries fresh too. And not too greasy.
ReplyDeleteIf you like lean pork chop, you will like it.
DeleteI've never been to Eko Cheras yet...not sure when I will go...although my relatives live nearby. MidValley is my default mall, followed by IOI City and IOI Puchong...other than that it will just be once in a blue moon....
ReplyDeleteHah, wonder if I will spot you one day in Midvalley since I am there every weekend, lolx!
DeleteI like fleshier fries too! Pork burger for me but no to pork knuckle. I read in facebook that there is a fire at midvalley mall, did you know about that?
ReplyDeleteoh, the fire is at JB midvalley, not KL midvalley.
DeleteCashless can be a problem since our systems are not synchronised and not everyone has one in the first place. If you'd 'upgraded' to RFID then cannot enter this mall...
ReplyDeleteupgraded to RFID can still keep the physical TnG card, right?
DeleteCan if you maintain both.
Deletemust keep physical TnG card.
