Deep fried tilapia served with ulam - long beans, lady fingers, petai, cucumber, ulam raja and daun pegaga. The ulam is refreshing since some of them are raw and some of them are lightly blanched so we finished all of them in no time at all. The fish is crispy and tasty. It is quite similar to this Dancing Fish.
2 glasses of soy with cincau (grass jelly), 1 glass of soy drink and 1 glass of ice lemon tea.
Prawn omelette.
The other two dishes we selected for this set lunch are vegetable curry and mutton curry. Both curry dishes are delicious and not too spicy.
A bowl of ABC (ais batu campur) ice dessert for sharing. We added MYR 5.47 nett to the price of the set lunch for each bowl of dessert.
This bowl of cendol is for sharing too. A sweet way to end the meal.
The set lunch for 4 pax costs MYR 88.50+ (10% service charge = MYR 96.84 nett) and we added 2 bowls of dessert at MYR 5.47 each and changed one of the 4 bowls of plain rice to ulam rice by adding MYR 3.28 so the total price is MYR 111.10 nett. Average per pax is about MYR 27.78 which is a good price.
I like the mutton curry, vegetables curry and omelette. The colour of the curry looks so red and bright, good thing that it is not too spicy. The price is so good lah, considering there is fish.
