We started our lunch with desserts because the main dishes took some time to arrive. Cendol at MYR 8.50+ (10% service charge = MYR 9.35 nett), Sago at MYR 6.50+ (MYR 7.15 nett) and Warm Water at MYR 1.50+ (MYR 1.65 nett). I was very hungry at that time so I was thankful to have cendol to eat while waiting for the main food.
My friend's Mee Siam at MYR 18.50+ (MYR 20.35 nett). It was a big portion so she had difficulty finishing it. The fried egg has a runny yolk which she loves. There are at least 2 quite big prawns.
My lunch which I kept half for dinner: Nasi ulam with a full chicken leg at MYR 25.50+ (MYR 28.05 nett). This is the only time I ate nasi ulam with bits of salted fish in it with lots of shredded herbs so it was very, very tasty. There are 2 types of raw vegetable/herb leaves which I am not familiar with but I ate them all with cucumber and raw petai. I tried a bit of the sambal belacan and it was not that spicy hot but very fragrant. This dish is worth a try.

Prices are kind of high but I guess it is because the food is tasty.
Eggs dishes cost at least MYR 15 each.
Total bill for two pax is MYR 66.55 nett.
This is a new eatery at the Midvalley Mall which opened for business a few months ago. It replaces Olive Garden and is located near to Madam Kwan restaurant.
The desserts are so enticing, the food looks so good too. Gotta KIV this place too should I happen to hop over anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteCan try this place because they sure give enough stuffs and taste good though a bit expensive.
DeleteI seldom look at those eateries in 1st floor...except Madam Kwan. Didn't notice that Olive Garden is no longer there.
ReplyDeleteNow you can try this place.
DeleteI think there is one outlet in TTDI. When we passed by, my partner remarked Alibaba & Nonya is a weird combo so the food might be suspect. He is so judgemental! Based on the menu I see here, it is worthy of a visit.
ReplyDeleteYes you are right, it seems that they have a branch in TTDI. You can go try the food there to see if the nyonya dishes are up to your standards or not.
DeleteI like Nyonya food and yes, I certainly like your choice too!!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read your review about it.
