My friend visited Tokyo recently and gave me these snacks. A big thank you to my friend.
There is also a box of seasonal peach pocky sticks. The box is in a sweet soft pastel pink colour.

Castella Cake by Tokyo Banana - Maple Flavour. It is soft with the fragrant maple syrup taste.
The Tokyo Banana is a must buy souvenir for someone visiting Japan, I had tasted it before, my sis's friend gave her a box when she came back from Japan's tour, for Asia, I had been to Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Hongkong, only except Japan never been, I think I will go crazy looking at these lovely and nicely packed snacks in Japan
ReplyDeleteDo you plan to visit Japan soon?
DeleteOh! That famous Taiwanese Castella cake. They have it in Japan too? I guess with its maple flavour, it is a lot tastier than the original.
ReplyDeleteI think it originated from Japan?
DeleteSo nice to get souvenirs from your friend. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! :)
DeleteNice to get a variety of gifts like that!
ReplyDeleteYes. :)
DeleteOf all, I would like to try the castella cake.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you would be impressed or not.
DeleteAll the snack gifts look yummy!
ReplyDeleteSweet!
DeleteDo you like the cakes and sweets? Somehow I don't enjoy Japanese snacks/sweets as much as I enjoy their food.
ReplyDeleteI have a sweet tooth but I shared the cakes and sweets so it is not that much so don't feel that satiated after eating them.
