Ribs King

Supreme Pork Chop rice set - includes rice, vegetable, pork chop, egg, and a bowl of soup. MYR8.50+  6% GST (MYR9 nett). I requested for a fully cooked yolk.

Nam Yee Spare Ribs Set - MYR9.50+ (MYR10.05 nett)

Another set.

Mee Hoon Soup with Bittergourd and Fish slices - MYR9.50+ (MYR10.05 nett). I did not like this because the mee hoon is brittle wiry and the fish slices have a very strong fishy taste.

Bitter gourd herbal tea - MYR3+ (MYR3.20 nett). The herbal tea is sweet with a slight bitterness from the piece of bitter gourd in the glass (can you spot it?).

Ribs King has a very extensive menu with an affordable price for each dish that business is so good that they have two shops very close to each other. This one is the new branch. This is a favourite place of my co-workers to have lunch.

This is the old branch. Both are located in Paramount Garden, PJ (almost next to each other).

This is how close the two shops are.
It is June now so it is back to posts on weekdays only.

  1. Eh, why do they have the old branch and the new branch so near to each other? You are similar to my hubby when it comes to egg yolk. He'll request for fully cooked yolk too. I on the other hand, will eat it as raw as possible. Heh.

    1. I think they want to expand the current place but no adjoining shop lots are available so have to open another branch two doors away.

  2. Cheap! All their pork sets look good. I'm like Merryn when it comes to the egg yolk...but I do not like it fried using the ring like that. Thick and chewy and no golden frills round the edges.

  3. Wow! For that price, it is worthy. I would like the nam yue spare rib.

  4. I prefer to eat runny eggs as there is fresher nutrients at the yolk. The menu prices are very reasonable.

Did you have difficulty to find parking there? I wish they will build a multi storey car park like Kota Damansara.

    1. My coworkers usually park at the housing area nearby and we will walk there.

  8. The rice sets look delicious and the price very reasonable. Interesting bitter gourd drink. Do you know what else beside bitter gourd do they used to make the drink?

  9. Everything looks good in your pictures. Pretty unusual to have the two shops so close together, guess they couldn't manage to rent adjoining units.

    1. I think so too, couldnot rent adjoining shoplots. Good value for money, especially for the pork chop rice.
