After
trying the waffle once, I decided to give the Bingsu (shaved ice) a chance to prove itself so I ordered a coffee bingsu at MYR16.80 nett. Same as the waffle, some of the nuts have an off taste. So this is the only time I am eating this bingsu.
MYR16.80 nett. So not worth it.
These Korean desserts are expensive, in SG even worse, S$16.00, the price already puts me off, so never try before
ReplyDeleteNo need to try.
DeleteOh my!!! Here, they have the (fresh) mango one. Of course, I would not go and try - the prices are around the same.
ReplyDeleteI believe fresh mango bingsu should taste nicer but no such choice here.
Deleteso far I have only tried bingsu in Sul So Dam (in SP). Hav passed by Caffé Bene a few times but looking at the price puts me off. The one in Sul So Dam was not that impressive either. I will blog about my bingsu experience next time.
ReplyDeletePlease do. I can't wait to read it.
DeleteI thought Bingsu is the name of the outlet. There is one place called Bingsu which has 2 floors at Uptown and they actually have 6 Bingsu outlets. So this coffee is at Cafe Bene which I am still hoping to visit as my Thai nephew's name is Bene too. LOLOL
ReplyDeleteI think the bingsu eatery you mentioned has an outlet in one Utama.
DeleteWhy la you go for something with nuts again. It'd be from the same source.
ReplyDeleteHahaha it was much later after a few months so I thought they bought new fresh nuts.
DeleteNot a fan of bingsu. Tried once.
ReplyDeleteAbc better, right?
DeleteOh, no one complain about the off taste nuts? This reminds me of the old fashioned shaved ice balls I used to enjoy when I was in primary school. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteErh, I also didn't complain.
