Rice Wine Bun

My friend took me to ICC Pudu again and I noticed this stall.

Busy making buns/baos.

So I bought a pack of 5 rice wine buns and 5 salted egg yolk buns to try for MYR 13 nett.

The instruction is to steam them for 5 mins before eating.

Salted Egg Yolk Buns (mini Lao Sar Baos). Not bad but I prefer the taste to be more delicate so I don't think I will buy these buns again.

Mini Rice wine buns/baos. Tasty with chicken and ginger fillings that taste of rice wine. I will definitely buy them again.

  5. One hit, one miss. Salted egg can get 'jelak' if eat too much.

    1. Especially this one where the taste is overally strong due to what I suspect to be the other ingredients that they used.

  6. I would enjoy those rice wine buns. So fragrant and delicious. Not keen on those salted egg custard ones.
