Nasi Lemak with deep fried mackerel at MYR 12.20+ (6% SST, MYR 12.95 nett) with a free drink. The fish is salty but still acceptable and tasty.
Of these four types, I prefer the one with mackerel.
Bill for two pax sharing 1 set meal: MYR 12.95 nett.
Kopi Time Cafe at Atria Mall.
They all look good but the test is in the eating - hope the nasi is truly lemak and worthy of its name.
ReplyDeleteThis is not what you expect of a coconut lemak lemak rice so if you are just eating nasi lemak for the lemak lemak, then I think better give this place a miss.
DeleteI remembered this Kopi Time had an old couple singing and crooning to oldies daily at certain hours.
ReplyDeleteOh, I did not see them on the night that I was there.
DeleteI like to eat this type of fish very much, my mom used to cook this type of fish by frying or steaming, yum
ReplyDeleteMackerel fish tastes much better than many types of other fish like dory.
DeleteLooks delicious. I will choose the nasi lemak ikan or the ayam. Sambal looks good!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, don't remember the sambal because I don't eat much of the sambal.
DeleteThe nasi lemak looks yummy
ReplyDeleteI like the fish.
DeleteI can see they were generous with sambal.
ReplyDeleteToo generous! :)
DeleteTenggiri is fine but I'd probably choose something more difficult to cook!
ReplyDeleteYou often deep fry mackerel at home? Nice!
