This is the branch at Starling Mall.
Dinner with my friends at the branch in MyTown Mall. I did not order a set but shared the food. Ramen and Toppoki Set - MYR 20.80 nett.
Kimchi Jigae Beef - MYR 21.45 nett. My friend says this is very tasty.
A portion of pan fried 5 dumplings at MYR 11.55 nett. I feel that the filling is too finely minced.
Pancake at MYR 16.40 nett. I consider this pancake to be very thick when compared to this one that I ate before. My friends could not finish it so I had to stuffed myself in order not waste it as I did not bring my trusted container with me. Although it is thick, I quite like it.
Steamed egg at MYR 9.80 nett. The texture is very different from chawanmushi but I like both equally.
Total Bill for 3 pax: MYR 82.50 nett so it was about MYR 27.50 nett per pax.
Sopoong branch at MyTown Mall. Sopoong is 소풍 which means Picnic.
I like the pancakes and kimchi, i have tried toppoki before, it is not to my liking, maybe because it is too chewy and hard to eat
ReplyDeleteI also don't like hard toppoki.
DeleteI do enjoy those Korean pancakes.
ReplyDeleteI agree that they are tasty!
DeletePancakes and dumplings for me. Not so crazy over Kochi.
ReplyDeleteKimchi when eaten together with pancakes and dumplings will enhance their taste.
Delete*kimchi*
ReplyDeletehahaha, I was wondering what is Kochi.
DeleteI like the pancake too... it has been a long while since I last went for Korean food...
ReplyDeleteAlmost 3 months?
Deletei like their spicy pancake...spicy and addictive! their toppokki was kinda hard (mayb that's the right texture), but I dun enjoy toppokki. It has been over a year since I last dined in Sopoong...mayb I should drop by there again.
ReplyDeleteoh, so you have eaten here a long time ago.
DeleteI went once and never returned. I think I had the bibimbap same as you. Since your friend said the Kimchi Jigae Beef is good, I might want to go back and eat that.
ReplyDeleteOh so you did not like the bibimbap because it has no sauce I suspect. Opposite as me.
DeleteI think i just proved to myself that i love korean food!
ReplyDeleteAh, so you do.
DeleteThe food is photogenic, colourful and red-red.
ReplyDeleteI like the bibimbap because it has so multi coloured vegetables.
DeleteWow! All your Korean food is calling me. I learnt to cook Kimchi Jigae when my room mate taught me. It is so easy and nice.
ReplyDeleteI am dying to visit Korea to eat all their authentic food.
since you like to eat kimchi you must visit Korea with your wife!
DeleteI have not tried the pancake, but it looks good to me.
