Lunch Set - Nasi Pandan Rempah Fish - MYR 18.55 nett with a free drink. I like the fresh chili paste on top of the okras because it is not very spicy and it tastes very refreshing.
This is the amount of food that I kept for my dinner before I start to eat because I know from looking at the amount of food on the plate that I will not be able to finish it.
Bill for 2 pax: MYR 37.10 nett at Restaurant Peranakan Place at One Utama. My friend had the chicken version of my lunch.
Is this eatery under the same chain as the one with the same name located in Nu Sentral, KL? I believe that it is the same franchise but operated by a different franchisee.
You are really a small eater compare to me
ReplyDeleteThat is my aim.
DeleteThe pandan rice must be very fragrant, i like
ReplyDeleteyes it is.
DeleteYummmm!!! Looks good. I always add pandan leaves to the rice when I cook but I do not pound them to get the juice, so no green colour.
ReplyDeletepandan leaves juice are so green.
DeleteThe rice must be fragrant. I love that. Just like in Nasi Lemak.
ReplyDeleteyes. :)
Deletegreen rice this time instead of the blue colour rice. I guess the green pandan rice is more fragrant.
ReplyDeleteyou are right, the blue flower gives no taste to the rice.
DeleteI am eyeing the fish.. cincaru, if not mistaken with fillings inside... I like!
ReplyDeletewah! you do know your fish! pandai!
DeleteYou managed to finish the whole fish?
ReplyDeleteIt was a thin fish, not much meat.
Deleteyea, I like their ocra with some chili paste on top...
ReplyDeleteThe chili paste is refreshing.
DeleteThis green rice looks so healthy and organic to me. I should harvest my pandan bush and cook them in my rice pot!
ReplyDeleteThe price is very reasonable and I will go there soon.
1u is near you so go go go! :)
DeleteLooks yummy! I think I will have no problem finishing the whole plate of rice especially with the sambal!
ReplyDeletevery true with the sambal can eat a lot of rice.
DeleteWah! That is not much food yet you can split it for lunch and dinner. You are like those cars that don't use up lots of fuel. Haha. Very economical to have.
ReplyDeleteHehehehe! :)
DeleteNonya restaurants don't seem to have much variety in the name. Someone a lot have 'Peranakan' and 'Bibik' in them hehe.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to this one in 1u for years... my last experience was so-so in terms of taste.
taste ok lah. too many good restaurants in one u so no need to go back to those you don't find very good.
