We ordered almost one of each option that is available on the menu. MYR 1.88++ per bowl (5% service charge 6% GST making it MYR 2.10 nett per bowl).
Two other varieties. I like the small portion as it gives me the opportunity to try all options without being too full.
Some protein - 5 pieces of crispy chicken wings at MYR 9.34++ (MYR 10.40 nett).
Total bill is MYR 22.95 nett at the Original Boat Noodle at IPC (Ikano Power Center)
Please click on the above image for a larger view to see the various options for the bowl noodle.
We did not order the desserts.
I havent try any boat noodles here in Msia. The only time I tried was in Bangkok and I love it but my boys did not as they find it spicy.
ReplyDeleteHere there are non spicy versions so Ethan and Ayden can try. They would love the chicken wings.
DeleteI sure would love to try. I was put off when they first came to the scene and i saw the photographs in the many reviews - they used those cockerel porcelain bowls and they were all badly chipped. Tsk! Tsk! Are these that they use now porcelain or melamine? Melamine and plastic used for serving hot food may be harmful to health.
ReplyDeletestill using porcelain.
DeleteI left this place without trying when I saw that only the noodles were at this concept. The previous boat noodle place I went to, EVERYTHING was included and it was fun having many-many small bowls.
ReplyDeleteeverything including rice dishes?
DeleteEVERYTHING. Snacks, skewers of things, pulut with mango, 1 chic wing, even the drinks are at the same price. Of course the portion is really small.
Deleteoh you mean the price is all the same for everything.
DeleteIs it the noodles without meat that is why so cheap?
ReplyDeleteno. The portion is small but there is a bit of meat and meat ball inside.
DeleteI have yet to try any boat noodles despite seeing it around in my neighborhood and the mall nearby my workplace. It doesn't seem appealing to me, maybe bcoz of the mini portion.
ReplyDeleteDo go try the different taste. Quite fun.
DeleteMany varieties, good choice and can be shared by many. I haven't try boat noodle.
ReplyDeleteBut must buy many bowls if want to be full.
DeleteI saw bowl noodles at the Concubine Lane and wanted to try but my friends had other plans. Hope to try them one day!
ReplyDeleteDo write about them when you do try.
DeleteI wonder how many bowls I can eat. hee..hee...
ReplyDeleteI think 2 dozens. :)
