WT Half eaten

Auckland posts: We were told that the fish and chips from this Fish Shop is very tasty but there are many choices of fish available and we do not know which to choose. In the end we selected cod fish although we noticed other customers buying other types of fish.

I forgot to take a photo of the fish and chips before we tucked in. I still feel that the fish and chips I ate in UK is more delicious.

    I loved what we had in Wellington, very much. Dunno the fish...my girl was familiar with what they had their so she went and ordered for us...

    There used to be a New Zealand franchise, The Fish Shop, something like MFM. I loved it! The fried oyster fritters were so good.

      Yes, read about your fish burger in Wellington and left a comment back in 2014. Your fish burger looks absolutely delicious with the fish so fresh! MFM here in KL can't even compare to them at all when it comes to the freshness of the seafood.

    I don't remember what fish is best for fish and chips, yeah they do have preferred fish types. I think in UK, they use Atlantic cod and haddock. NZ is nowhere near Atlantic, so I guess they have other types of preferred fish.

      You are right, UK sells Atlantic Cod which is so, so delicious as compared to the Pacific Cod that we get here. Not sure what type of cod NZ sells.
