Tell your fortune?

I was given two fortune cookies to tell my fortune.

Looks just like the picture on the packaging

My fortune: "Those who have love, have wealth beyond measures" and "Our work is the presentation of our capabilities".

Will you let these cookies tell your fortune?

    1. Of course they will be repeated but still to get one randomly, it is fun to try to decipher what it means in relation to our lives, right?

  6. haha, I will actually just read and guess 5 minutes later I will forget what I read on that piece of paper.. to me, they have a pool of "fortune" message to print out, and all of them are auspicious (I think there's no bad luck in fortune cookies message??), so I won't take it seriously though.. it's just like reading those daily horoscope or yearly animal signs fortune.. I'll just treat them as a read.. not that I don't believe in fortune telling, but I t takes just too many other factors to nail down one's fortune..:)

  7. 讲了等于没有讲, Say liao equals to no say anything... It is like saying "Those who have a rich father, will have a wealthy life", or "Your annual income is your monthly salary in a year combined".. Hahaha XD

    1. Not the same lah. Some people do not know the wisdom of the sayings - having love is like having wealth. They work all their hours away chasing wealth and neglecting their loved ones.

    1. Hahaha, you mean you ate all the fortune cookies? You are meant to take one only to see your fortune and serve the rest to guests visiting your home.

  9. That's not really a 'fortune' is it? Just a saying of some sort. 'Fortunes' would be things like 'you will meet a handsome stranger' or something. :)

  12. This brings me memories about American culture!
I saw these fortune cookies for the first time while studying in US and was shocked to see how crazy their folks would crave for them after dinners at the Chinese restaurants. They love to read all the good predictions.

    1. I also know about fortune cookies after watching American movies and tv series. At that time, there were no fortune cookies here.
