Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang - MYR10.90++ We consider this price to be good because there is quite a sizable amount of beef.
The menu says Lemongrass Honey Tea so we thought it is like English tea and it turned out to be just a drink with lemongrass and honey in it - about MYR4.60++
Many photos on the wall
Drinks counter
Real or Fake? plant in the middle of the place
Heritage Village at the new Jaya Shopping Complex in PJ
The nasi lemak is quite worth the money eh. Can KIV this place if I ever drop by Jaya Shopping Complex.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.
DeleteLooks so good. Not expensive, this is a cafe...not a coffee shop or roadside stall. Lovely place.
ReplyDeleteThey really put effort into the decor.
DeleteQuite a welcoming interior.
ReplyDeleteI agree. :)
DeleteThe beef looks chunky and big portion too.. I also can finish this plate of rice..
ReplyDeleteI thought you are on a diet?
DeleteWah. The food sure look tempting. My hubby would enjoy it.
ReplyDeletewhat about you?
Deletethe nasi lemak with beef rendang looks good..
ReplyDeletei have not tried a lemongrass drink before, actually, hehe!!
very nice decorations on the wall, cool!!
the place look neat and tidy and with an open drinks counter
i would say the plant is a fake one
have not been to this place before.. will try one day
^^
Next time I go there, I will check out the plant.
DeleteThe food looks tempting! I like the interior as well!
ReplyDeleteNasi lemak is often very delicious.
DeleteYour lemongrass honey tea is not the worse. I once came across a cafe that sold Plain Tea for RM1.50, end up the plain tea is plain water. And it wasn't a mistake.
ReplyDeleteThat cafe has gone out of business though..
Eh, how can they write plain tea when it was just normal water?
DeleteI love lemongrass honey tea....and that tree is probably fake coz very troublesome to maintain a real tree inside the café...got to water lah, discard shedded leaves, sometimes got ants even....kekeke!! But then I look around and I see some real potted plants :D
ReplyDeleteif I go there again, I will look closely at the tree and let you all know. :D
DeleteYep, quite a lot of beef in that nasi lemak. I see there are real lemongrass pieces in the 'tea', good way to prove got lemongrass inside.
ReplyDeleteyes, those are lemon grass pieces in the tea.
DeleteThat's a good portion of nasi lemak. It gets the thumbs up from me :)
ReplyDelete:) I think this place got an award for its nasi lemak.
DeleteNow that makes me crave Nasi lemak. Where should I go? Paparich?
ReplyDeleteCook your own? Since you are a good cook. :)
Deleteno time >_< (also lazy lar, cause eric's family don't know how to appreciate nasi lemak *sad* )
DeleteCan understand that it is difficult to cook nasi lemak for yourself only since no one else wants to eat it.
DeleteI'm a sucker for beef rendang! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am sure you can cook a very tasty beef rendang.
DeleteNice plate of yummy nasi lemak, just looking at the sambal is enough to make me drool....
ReplyDeleteYou are one spicy hot lady! :D
DeleteLooks good and yummy, though I don't take beef but I do take lamb
ReplyDeleteSo you are a Buddhist? That's why don't take beef?
DeleteI love all these interior ambiance that uses raw cement and lattice bricks!
ReplyDeleteThe nasi lemak looks so generous with lots of side dishes.
Glad to hear you like this grey and cement look.
