Unfortunately the bowls of soup were not available for lunch so we ordered two dishes from their set lunch menu which costs MYR 9.90+ (5% service charge = MYR 10.40 nett each. This pork and yam dish with rice is not what I expected as I thought the yam pieces would be more noticeable.
This stir fry prawn egg noodles look like instant noodles and is super salty and oily too. We have to pour soup on it to dilute the salty taste. All set meals cost MYR 10.40 nett.
Bill for 2 pax: MYR 20.80 nett. We will definitely not eat at this place again. After this we went back to Neighbour's Coffee Bar to eat the souffle pancakes.
Shop front.
A pity that it is a disappointing experience.
ReplyDeleteat least we finished all the food though it is unhealthy.
DeleteI won't like food that are too salty too but usually i will try to finish the food as don't want to waste food.
ReplyDeletewe also finished all the food.
DeleteThey should take down the banner then! I get really pissed off when I go some place to eat and they tell you this and that on the menu is not available. They should not include them then and promote as "Today's Special" when they have it.
ReplyDeleteThey say the soup is only for dinner.
DeleteDoes not look appetizing at all. What a let down. I am sure the souffle pancakes at Neighbour's Coffee Bar more than made up for the lousy lunch.
ReplyDeleteyes you are right.
DeleteOh dear.
ReplyDeleteI also hate too salty food.
