Fine Noodle

Braised Pork Knuckles Noodles - Very flavourful but not salty. The pork knuckles were braised to perfection, soft meat but not too soft skin. The skin still retains the bouncy texture. I have forgotten the exact price but I think the price is from MYR19.80+ to MYR22.80+ depending on whether you choose 3 or 5 pork knuckle pieces. The noodle portion is quite dainty too.

Egg tarts - these egg tarts were bigger than the mini ones we ate last time and we think the mini ones are more delicious. THW now has special breakfast sets from 8 am to 10 am for about MYR10+ to MYR18+ but since we were not there that early, we did not get a chance to order these special sets.

The menu for the special dishes that include the pork knuckles noodle that we ordered.

  1. Don't really know how to appreciate pork knuckles, don't like the skin and too much bones

  2. I love pork knuckles but not those in one of the other pics - chicken claws. Eyewwww!!!! I think they are both the same though - full of collagen, good for looking young. Eat more! Eat more! LOL!!!

  3. Wow! The price!!

I used to not eat pork knuckle when I were young. Thought it was disgusting. Haha. But I tried and now I can accept the taste but still not a big fan of braised knuckle. Deep-fried prata, that is different story.

    1. Good that they did because so early in the morning (8 to 10am), it is usually individuals eating on their own so if they want variety, they can't order much from the normal menu. The special sets give variety with less portion to cater for individual's needs.

    1. No, I don't eat any fatty food at all. This bowl of noodles is not mine but I taxed some lean meat and a piece of thick skin from the bowl and I painstakingly scrapped off all the fatty bits from underneath the thick skin and just ate the bouncy skin for its collagen.

    1. I also go for the lean meat and the skin only after scraping off all the fatty bits from underneath the thick skin.
