Trophy Achieved

Since I am often at a loss over what to eat for lunch, I forced myself to eat at the same air-conditioned "mixed rice" eatery for the whole work week for not more than MYR5 per meal. Should be an easy goal to achieve. One portion of deep fried fish slices below costs MYR3 and one portion of  vegetables costs MYR1.50 or MYR2 and I did not eat any rice because I ate 4 slices of wholemeal bread for breakfast and 3 slices again during teatime so enough carb from the wholemeal bread.

Day 1: Deep fried fish slices in Lemon sauce, Chinese Cabbage stir fried with carrots - MYR4.50 but where are the greens?

Day 2: Deep fried fish slices in sweet and sour sauce with capsicum and pineapple, Stir fried spinach - MYR5. I like eating the pieces of pineapple as the sour taste is appetizing.

Day 3: Deep fried fish slices in Thai sauce with tomatoes and onions, stir fried celery - MYR5

Day 4: Deep fried fish slices in lemon sauce again, Stir fried cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage and tomatoes - MYR5. The other choice that I could have eaten is deep fried fish slices in black pepper sauce but I don't like black pepper sauce so did not choose that.

Day 5: Deep fried fish slies with spring onion and ginger, Small bok choy stir fried with red capsicum - MYR5

  8. Oh, I can eat these same 5 meals as you...as long as it's fish (any style) and not meat. If meat, don't think I can endure 5 days of the same meat!
