RockU Yakiniku

Saw this queue at the highest floor of the Pavilion Mall

Buffet all you can eat for 100mins at MYR39.90++ for lunch. I have grown out of eating grilled food like this so I won't be trying it. This is value-for-money for big eaters who can eat very fast I guess.

  4. oh another hip place in town after the what boat noodles huh?? I can see 90% of the people in line are young people, haha!! it's a great buffet deal for RM39.90.. but I may not try that due to:
    1. the crowd
    2. uncle can't eat much nowadays
    3. there's a time limit hence it's quite stressful, though 100min is enough for me..

    1. You're right...the patrons are mostly young people coz I think the décor and ambience + the live performances appeal to them...and these young people can really eat and eat very fast as well!

    2. Got family bring very young children too! Not sure how the decor is inside. 100 mins should be enough though one cannot sit and wait to be hungry again to go for next round like in 4 hours buffet.

    1. Can't wait to read your post. Did you go there on weekday or weekend? Maybe the price is different for weekends.

    2. Went there on a weekday but the price should be the same regardless if it's weekday or weekend since the menu board clearly states 2 different prices only. If it's different, it must be clearly stated, otherwise patrons will feel 'cheated'!

    3. I do find some other restaurants having different prices during weekday and weekends but not stated. They just bring out a different set of menus.

  7. This is interesting with time limit. Quite a good deal for RM39.90. Go for the high value items :)

    2. yeapzz! definitely, but anyhow, i prefer the chef grilled the food (in the kitchen), so that i dun smell like a burning charcoal or some greasy meat after done with it!

    3. Sometimes grilled in the kitchen, we will still end up smelling like oil.

  9. I suppose it's worth it if you compare to Korean-style grills, where one order of RM70+ isn't much at all.

    1. But this one I wonder whether they limit the meat or not.

    2. There's no limit on the meat at all, you can order as many servings as you want. The only limit is on the time.

    3. Wah, then they rugi lah if a big eater comes and sapu all the meat fast, fast.
