On Sunday 21.aug.22, went Taman Desa to buy lunch and 126 Mixed Rice to buy dinner for the Elderlies.

Bought Lohan guava, pineapple, walnut, cashew nut and mini red bean mooncake. I am not going to peel a pineapple so I bought a peeled Rompin pineapple. Both peeled and unpeeled pineapples are sold at the same price of about MYR 10 so I chose the peeled pineapple.

*** Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop ***

His chapfan lunch MYR 9.50 of no rice, scrambled eggs, chicken thigh and napa cabbage. The braised egg is for my lunch. He bought two packs of chapfan for the Elderlies lunch.

My lunch of his remaining lunch and the 3 dishes MYR 6 in the round container: okra, egg tofu and soyknots.

It occupies two shoplots.

His chapfan dinner of pork livers, cauliflower and sweet peas.

This is the mini mooncake. Tastes ok.

*** Roast pork ***

The Elderlies requested for roast pork so I went to Hong Kong Roast Eatery which is near to 126 mixed rice eatery to buy roast pork. The price for a small portion of roast pork is MYR 18 so I decide to buy using the Foodpanda app self pick-up because I have discount evouchers.

I only placed this Foodpanda order when I am in the eatery and immediately gave them my container to put the siew yuk. After all discounts, the price is MYR 12.10 only.

There are 13 pieces of siew yuk so he gave 8 pieces to the elderlies and ate 4 for his dinner. I ate one piece.

Rolled Oats replaced Rice

On Saturday 20.aug.22, went to Hiong Mei to buy lunch for the Elderlies and Foodpanda delivery for the Elderlies' dinner.

12.11 noon - my one meal of the day from Hiong Mei - 2 pieces of pork and napa cabbages without rice at MYR 8 nett which I ate with overnight rolled oats soaked in drinking water. Taste good with the oats replacing rice.

12.07 noon - his half eaten lunch of a little rice, deep fried pork, okra and napa cabbages. Total price for 3 packs including one deep fried fish is MYR 25 nett.

Dinner for 3 pax: the Elderlies and him from Canton Kitchen at a total of about MYR 34 after using promocode TEN to get MYR 10 off for:

1. Two packs of rice

2. Mushrooms fish paste

3. Fuyong egg omelette

How Yee Kee BKT Sri Petaling

On Friday 19.aug.22, stayed at home all day and bought one shopeefood delivery and one pandamart delivery.

1115 am - bak kut teh MYR 16.51 and he added lettuce to it. He ate this bak kut teh for both his lunch and dinner. As for me, I finally finished eating all the Methi Baingan received on Sunday 7.aug.22 which is 11 days ago.

Bright fields walnuts and cashew nuts bought using pandamart.

The tofu puff and mushrooms are added to the bkt for dinner. Trying out Anzen organic rolled oats for overnight oats.

De Fresh Market Sri Petaling

On Thursday 18.aug.22, went to Golden Chopsticks coffee shop and 126 Kopitiam to buy lunch for the Elderlies and ourselves.

11.53 am - his chapfan lunch MYR 6.50 from Golden Chopsticks coffee shop consisting of a little rice, broccoli+cauliflower, potatoes chicken and omelette. Two packs of chapfan lunch for the Elderlies cost MYR 15 nett.

11.53 am - I bought 4 braised eggs, celery+cauliflower and okra MYR 9 from 126 Kopitiam and one brandless double salted egg yolk red bean mooncake MYR 13 nett because the previous one that I bought tastes very nice. I finally finished eating the mutton Varuval received on Sunday 7.aug.22 which is 11 days ago.

I wanted to buy a slice of pineapple but the fruit stall is closed so I bought using Foodpanda from De Fresh Market Sri Petaling.

Total price of about MYR 23 after discount because free pandapro delivery needs the order to be above MYR 25 nett.

Price for each individual item. Used Allday promocode to get about 25% off. Salad B is supposed to be strawberry, honey melon, blueberry and kiwi but they replaced the kiwi with green grapes.

All the packets of fruit which we will eat for 2 days. Quality is acceptable although the two bananas are over riped. I am surprised to see a small tub of lemon syrup with salad B. I don't need the syrup because the fruits are sweet.

Agedashi Tofu

On Wednesday 17.aug.22, we stayed home all day and did 24 hours water fasting from the previous day 5.30 pm to the current day 5.30 pm and then eat one meal of the day. He suggested salmon without rice and miso soup so I bought the following food items from Ginza Sushi Sri Petaling.

Salmon Shioyaki, chawanmushi, miso soup with lots of seaweed and agedashi Tofu.

Agedashi Tofu is deep fried tofu which is crispy outside and silky smooth inside with seaweed toppings served in a sauce made of mirin, dashi, and shoyu.

3.23 pm - received the food in good order, no spillage because they were wrapped nicely with cling film.

Test Fatty Mixed Rice

On Tuesday 16.aug.22, it is chapfan again. We went to Fatty Mixed Rice Sri Petaling to buy food for both ourselves and the Elderlies. This time I also buy a no-rice chapfan with my own stainless steel container to test how much the seller would charge me for the food. Conclusion is the price is reasonable.

11.43 am - my chapfan with no rice from Fatty Mixed Rice Sri Petaling at MYR 8 nett for 4 dishes and one braised egg:

1. Bittergourd

2. Okra

3. Broccoli

4. Thick layered compacted beancurd sheets which are not soft enough so next time I won't include this dish.

5. One braised egg.

11.42 am - his chapfan of a little rice, okra, broccoli+cauliflower, and dry curry pork with two packs of chapfan for the Elderlies which included one piece of deep fried mackerel fish cost MYR 27 which is understandable since that one piece of fish alone costs about MYR 6 to MYR 7.

Roti Telur Bawang

On Monday 15.aug.22, went out to buy food for ourselves: pork yeemi soup from Swee Hing coffee shop and roti telur bawang from Aliff eatery which is at the back of Swee Hing coffee shop.

9.44 am - he felt like eating roti telur bawang so we went to buy it. This dhall gravy which we ate with the nasi lemak is from the roti canai telur bawang which tastes nutty and full of spice taste but is not spicy hot so I like it.

Nasi lemak deep fried chicken thigh with one fried egg at an estimated price of MYR 8.40 because I paid MYR 18 for:

1. 2x roti canai telur bawang which the menu says costs MYR 3.30 per piece

2. Nescafe hot drink which the menu says costs MYR 3 per drink

3. Nasi Lemak fried chicken thigh - I didn't look at the price for this item from the menu.

9.44 am - his roti telur bawang.

4.24 pm - My roti telur bawang which I ate one quarter only and kept the remaining roti for another day. The roti is doughy and soft so I like to eat it with the nutty dhall gravy.

3.56 pm - my meal of chapfan dishes from Sunday which is the day before and some frozen rice from Saturday.
