Deep Fried Fish Fillet Rice

On Wednesday 23.mar.22, we ordered one food delivery as lunch and finished eating the remaining brinjal and curry chicken from the fridge as dinner.

12 noon - we ordered this sweet sour fish fillet rice to try because one elderly says that it is nice. I like the more sour than sweet gravy. The fish fillets are deep fried without much batter coatings and are tender. I guess that is why the elderly likes it. I prefer the fish fillets from Canton Kitchen because it is not dory fish. This one I think is dory fish but I am not too sure.

The sweet potatoes leaves portion is huge due to the price charged so we ate it for both lunch and dinner.

Price is MYR 28.60 nett inclusive of delivery fees for 2 dishes and 1 portion of rice which we ate for dinner.

12.17 noon - my portion of pork mihun bought on Tuesday from Hing Kee Coffee Shop at Kuchai Lama that he kept for me from his breakfast. Taste is acceptable to me.

Strawberry Yogurt Ice Cream

On Tuesday 22.mar.22, bought 2 food deliveries and 1 pandamart delivery. Tried a new eatery - Hing Kee coffee shop.

6.48 pm - ate this Wall's Strawberry yogurt ice cream to wrap up the day's meals. Very tasty with real pieces of strawberry in it.

Bought gardenia wholemeal bread for the Elderlies so bought fruits and ice cream as well. There are 8 sweet and juicy tangerines in one pack and 6 bananas.

*** Hing Kee Coffee Shop at Kuchai Lama ***

6.10 pm - shared this wanton soup noodles siew yuk for dinner. The siew yuk has many layers of fats which we removed before eating the meat. Taste fine.

Char siew dry wanton noodles and siew yuk soup wanton noodles for the Elderlies' lunch. The feedback is that the char siew meat is too lean so it tends to be too firm for them but they ate all the char siew despite that. So no more char siew for them from this coffee shop. May try the roast chicken rice.

I have not been to this coffee shop and I don't know its exact location. The address is:

*** Tradisi Kopitiam ***

12 noon - we shared this nasi lemak curry chicken for lunch.

They gave too much curry gravy for the chicken breast parts and potatoes. Taste good.

I like the popiah of this eatery with jicama in it. This curry puff is tasty too. I also have not been to this eatery and I also don't know its exact location but I like the taste of its food so will continue to buy food delivery from them.

Steamed White Soft Tofu

On Monday 21.mar.22, we bought one food delivery.

12.22 noon - steamed soft white tofu with spring onions minced meat fried red onion toppings. We didn't use the soy sauce provided as the toppings are flavourful enough. I like eating soft white tofu dish like this one because it is tasty and easy to eat.

Brinjals with the same toppings as the steamed soft white tofu. The portion is more than enough for two meals so we kept half for another meal.

Roast chicken, char siew, siew yuk, braised egg rice with soup. The bag next to it contains the brinjal dish.

Bought from Hainanese Chicken Rice. Price is MYR 23.62 nett inclusive of delivery fees after pandapro discount and allday discount.

 

1.26 pm - I ate all the remaining prawn nasi lemak from Saturday ICC Pudu Food Court.

Irresistible

On Sunday 20.mar.22, we went to Taman Desa as usual to buy food.

11.30 am - thick apam with crushed peanuts and corns fillings at MYR 1.50 from a food truck selling apam near tuck Tuck tei coffee shop. When I see thick apam then I must buy them to eat. Yummy!

11.22 am - bought 3 packs of economy rice from Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop for lunch at a total price of MYR 27.50 nett.

For the Elderlies:

1. Steamed chicken thigh, egg tofu, rice and brinjal

2. Steamed chicken thigh, stir fried eggs, rice and lettuce

For two of us:

1. Steamed chicken rice, kailan, rice,  broccoli+cauliflower, egg tofu and bitter gourd.

The elderlies dinner as per their request. They cooked rice at home to go with these two dishes: papaya ribs soup and Sei dai tin Wong stir fried with sambal belacan.

On Saturday 19.mar.22, we ordered a lot food from ICC Pudu Food Court. He then brought lunch over to the Elderlies. Dinner was bought using Grabfood which was directly delivered to the Elderlies. Two fish fillets rice from Yan Kitchen.

4 pm - tried a bit of the dry mihun mixed beef meal. The mihun is very soft which I like. The beef pieces have solidified fats in between the meat so it was difficult to eat the meat without eating the solidified fat.

10.30 - tasty non spicy crispy popiahs. Shared them for brunch.

10 am - shared this pork mihun as breakfast.

11.23 am - prawns nasi lemak for the next day. Prawns are not shown in this photo. I added fried potatoes to the nasi lemak. Very yummy fried potatoes with a bit of chili.

Hot pepper pork mihun is for the elderly.

Petai ckt is for the elderly but today no petai so for the same price, it is just ckt.

Curry Chicken Bun

On Friday 18.mar.22, ordered one food delivery for lunch using Grabfood.

Tried this curry chicken bun.

Weighs 90 g at MYR 2.20 for one pack of two buns.

Not spicy. On the sweet side with curry paste fillings. Good for a quick bite.

*** Nasi Lemak Bamboo ***

Shared the nasi lemak chicken and deep fried squid for lunch. The chicken rendang seems to use goat's milk in it. For dinner, he cooked and ate Sanbanto sui gao.

On Thursday 17.mar.22, 2 food deliveries and 1 pandamart delivery were ordered.

12 noon - saw this food store in Foodpanda app so ordered to try. Ok, quite pleasant to eat, all processed food products. He ate them for his dinner.

No dine in facility at this eo garage. There are tampered proof stickers on the containers.

*** Thu 17.mar.22 ***

7.44 am - ordered congee for his breakfast and included one curry noodles to have more items to be able to use the pandapro subscription discount. They delivered 3 containers of congee instead without any curry noodles so I have to eat one tub of congee.

2 pm. Congee for my lunch. Minced pork patty and dory fish slices in this smooth congee. One tub fills up a large bowl but it was easy to eat, just swallow only so I finished eating the whole bowl very quickly.

They delivered one salted egg, century egg, minced meat and deep fried intestines congee as per my order and replaced the curry noodles with chicken slices congee and fish pork congee so I didn't make a report. He ate congee for both breakfast and dinner.

The Elderlies' lunch from fat boy coffee shop. Ccf and 3jc mihun. The gravy of the ccf is on the salty side this time.

Whole meal bread for the Elderlies so I bought one piece of frozen salmon to try. It is from Chile.  Chipsmore cookies to top up the amount to reach MYR 30.
