1. Soto ayam with mihun MYR 15.90+
Soto ayam has cubes of ketupat in soup so I like to eat it as I like to eat soft ketupat aka compressed rice into cubes. Portion is not much so just nice for me as a small eater.
2. Daging gepuk MYR 14+ because I wanted to confirm what they gave us as daging gepuk last week was not mixed up by daging rendang. This time they gave us the same dish which to us tastes exactly like daging rendang. So next week I am going to order daging rendang only to see what they will give us.
3. Cold coffee MYR 5+ I requested for less sweet but they said the coffee is ready made and it turned out to be too sweet for us.
4. Combo C. Ayam gepuk + Salted Egg Sotong non spicy MYR 23.90+
When I say non spicy the staff reconfirmed it with me saying totally no sambal, only nuts gravy which is on the sweet side. I think the staff thinks the taste is a bit on the flat side if totally no sambal.
He likes the salted egg sotong aka squid because the sotong pieces are tender and the salted egg batter is flavourful. Next week I will try the sotong gepuk.
Total MYR 64.70 nett.
I am satisfied with this meal so will eat brunch at this eatery again next week.

4.16 pm - took 3 hours to slowly savour the durians 😋

Both have slightly bitter tastes which I like
He ate 2 msk n 1 black thorn while I ate all the remaining durian in one sitting.

10 seeds for msk -> 1 seed = MYR 6 nett

Wah, durian feast again! Shioknyer....Last time in my ex company the boss booked a lorry full of durians & the staffs had an outdoor teatime with durian feast. It was in the evening around 4:30 like tht. After makan, the staffs straight go home, so no bad breath in the office😄. The compressed rice in the soto is most likely nasi impit instead of ketupat, a Malay friend told me so. Usually ketupat only for special occasion like hari raya.

Ketupat menggunakan kelongsong anyaman daun kelapa atau daun palas, manakala nasi impit dimampatkan dalam bekas keras atau dimasak menggunakan plastik khas (ketupat segera).
