So for Ayam Gepuk Hut:
1. Order daging rendang will get similar to curry beef slices
11.55 am - we shared a big tub of warm herbal jelly MYR 16 nett.
7.18 am - early breakfast: pork misua add one egg. Our usual kaya butter toasts, not in photo: soft boiled eggs and hot cham.
2. Order daging Gepuk will get similar to the usual beef chunks rendang
For the main rice dish, I ordered sotong gepuk rice MYR 17.90+
The sotong aka squid is tender and tasty.
Both sotong gepuk and salted egg yolk sotong are tasty 😋
Will definitely eat squid and beef here again because I like the taste.

The daging rendang looks good! Your plate comes with sotong gepuk & salted egg sotong? So, it is 2 sotong dishes? Do they allow sotong & daging mix?
ReplyDeleteCan choose only one type of sotong and buy ala carte for any more dishes. I don't think they have sotong and daging mix combi. Just have combo of chicken + any one sotong and combo of chicken + any one beef.
DeleteOh I would have stuck to chicken since the shop is named Ayam Gepuk! Actually never noticed there is such thing as daging gepuk and sotong gepuk.
