Collar Steak

On Wednesday 7.sep.22, we stayed home and ate food from fridge.

His diy dinner of pork collar steak.

Frozen vacuumed pack pork collar steak.

Bought on Monday from a shop a few doors away from Swee Hing coffee shop.

We ate the remaining bittergourd soup with instant noodles and fried egg for lunch.

E3 Lamb Burger

On Tuesday 6.sep.22, went to Hiong Mei to buy chapfan lunch for the Elderlies.

4.24 pm - my omad of one lamb burger and one beef burger from Fuel Shack Signature shopeefood delivery from Nexus Bangsar South.

Both burgers have this sweet butter taste. I think they must have spread some sort of butter onto the buns. 

Top view. As there are mayo and sauces already spread onto the meat patties, I ate both burgers in one seating.

Lamb panggang Burger:

80g of seasoned Australia lamb, cheese, mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomato and panggang sauce.

Beef burger:

80g of Australia beef, cheese, mayo, lettuce, pickles and tomatoes.

Both meat patties are thicker than fast food burgers' meat patties and taste of mutton or beef but the sauces and mayo taste is kind of overpowering. As I prefer to have the burgers with sauces separated, I think I will stick to eateries that offer the option to separate the sauces or totally remove the sauces.

Total price for two burgers is around MYR 32 which is a little bit in the high side.

Packaging. There are no boxes for the burgers as they are just placed into a paper burger sleeve each and put into this brown paper bag.

He bought 3 packs of chapfan and then dropped off 2 packs for the Elderlies.

The previous day, on Monday 5.sep.22, bought raw pork loin and raw prime pork ribs from Le Deli Sri Petaling so on Tuesday 6.sep.22 bought tomatoes, small bitter gourds, carrots as per his request because he wants to cook pork ribs, bittergourd, tomatoes, carrot soup for dinner.

E2 Jamoca Almond Fudge

On Monday 5.sep.22, went to Swee Hing coffee shop to buy our food and also to two nearby shops to buy raw meat.

Bought a pint of two flavours of ice cream:

1. Jamoca Almond Fudge

2. Strawberry Cheesecake 

I like the coffee taste of the Jamoca Almond Fudge and also the real almonds more than Strawberry Cheesecake because the cheesecake ice cream is too rich for me and has a strong cheese taste. Next time I will just buy Jamoca Almond Fudge flavour.

Bought from a shop called Le Deli Sri Petaling which describes itself as "your neighbourhood gourmet foods store". 

Le Deli is located between Aliff eatery and 1977 New Ipoh Chicken Rice shop.

Sunday Chapfan

On Sunday 4.sep.22, went to Taman Desa to buy lunch and Fatty Mixed Rice to buy dinner for the Elderlies.

8.22 am - his diy breakfast.

11.50 am - our lunch from Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop:

A. Siew yuk MYR 10

B. Chapfan MYR 12.50 for:

1. A small portion of rice

2. Okra

3. Napa cabbage

4. Soyknots

5. Egg tofu

6. Braised egg

7. Scrambled egg + bitter gourd

8. Fish slices spring onion ginger

Two packs of chapfan lunch for the Elderlies cost MYR 17 nett.

5.30 pm - 3 packs of chapfan dinner cost MYR 29 and the above chapfan is his dinner: fish paste stir fry bell peppers, mushrooms beancurd puff, siew bok choy with a little rice.

The beancurd puff above is from the chapfan dinner. Reheated the remaining chicken wine dish to finish it after buying it on Wednesday so this dish lasts us for 5 days.

Frozen Bananas

On Saturday 3.sep.22, went out twice, once to buy lunch and once to buy dinner for the Elderlies.

12.07 noon - he bought 3 packs of chapfan MYR 21 from Hiong Mei chapfan eatery.

12.08 noon - he took out all the chicken meat from the chicken wine dish bought on Wednesday from Wai Kei and stir fried them in vegetarian oyster sauce before putting them back into the chicken wine dish. He also added lily bulbs into the chicken wine dish. After our lunch, there are still quite a lot of chicken wine remaining for the next day.

3.09 pm - I ate the final 2 frozen bananas from my freezer. Very cold and sweet, just like ice cream. I bought a bunch of very ripe rastali bananas on Sunday so I peeled them and stored them in the freezer. I believe Rastali banana is also known as Latundan banana.

5.20 pm - he bought 3 packs of chapfan MYR 24 at 126 chap fan eatery.

E1 Ohana Burger

On Friday 2.sep.2022, dropped off some things at my friend's place and did some grocery shopping nearby. I have been feeling like eating a beef burger so I ordered shopeefood delivery.

3 pm - my omad, set burger so the can of coca cola I will keep to give my friend. I don't like sauces so I am happy to see that there is an option for all sauces on the side by paying MYR 1 and even though I put a note to ask them to keep the sauces and not give the sauces to me, they still gave me 3 tubs of sauces which I then use as a dip for the fries. There are two grilled cloves of garlic with the fries. 

3.23 pm - I ate a slice of wholemeal bread with the burger which is very flavourful even without the sauces. One good point is I can taste the beef without being interfered by the heavy taste of the sauces.

The beef patty is pinkish in the middle. As I don't have strong teeth, beef patty is more suitable for my meals than steaks. Ohana burger has a piece of grilled pineapple and mushrooms.

Total price inclusive of delivery is MYR 22.65 after all discounts and shopee coins redemption.

6.30 pm - added 5 boneless chicken thighs bought from Pandamart the previous day to the chicken wine dish. Kept half and ate half of it for dinner.

He blanched one packet of lettuce for dinner as well.

On Thursday 1.sep.22, went to Golden Chopsticks to buy lunch for the Elderlies.

My friend drinks this milk everyday to get calcium so when I saw that it is being sold at a discounted price, I bought one packet for my friend.

The anlene gold 1 kg has MYR 4.15 off MYR 41.50 and with the promocode TEN10 to get MYR 10 off for MYR 60 spent, the price is about MYR 33 only.

12.48 noon - his chapfan lunch with a little rice and 3 vegetables dishes costs about MYR 4 to be eaten together with the pork trotter bought on Monday. Two packs of chapfan lunch for the Elderlies cost about MYR 15 so the price is ok.

I bought yinchoy aka amaranth greens with two braised eggs MYR 7 for my omad.

6 pm - he added mihun to the fish paste bitter gourd dish from Wai Kei coffee shop bought on the previous day for his dinner.
