Buy Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Two sets of oven broiled salmon with potato wedges and vegetables (grilled carrots, capsicums, brinjals and long beans) at MYR 48.34 nett with 20% off for total bill above MYR 90 nett so for each set, the price after discount is MYR 38.67 nett.

4 brown paper bags of cheddar bay biscuits at buy 5 get 1 free so I bought 4 sets at a total of MYR 30.12 nett with 20% off (MYR 24.096 nett so it costs MYR 1.004 for a cheddar bay biscuit).

6 in a bag so I have 24 yummy cheese biscuits to last me 24 days. I have put 12 into the freezer. I wanted to buy these biscuits for a long time but they were not for sale but included as a complimentary starter so when I noticed that I could buy them via grab app, I jump at the chance and bought 4 bags.

Total price including tax and delivery fees are MYR 109.95 nett.

Nicely packed in one bag. Ordered at 11.22 am and received at 12.10 noon from Red Lobster, Quill City Mall.

2 pm, I finished the previous day ccf and yam cake from the fridge.

Keeping to schedule so ate 5 of 6 tenders with the ccf.

2.30 pm, wrapped up lunch with half a red dragon fruit.

5 pm, help to finish the vegetables because it has cheese on them. Kept the wedges for another day.

7 pm, ate half salmon and all vegetables. Yummy! Keep half salmon and all wedges for next day meal.

8 pm. Ate 1 of 24 cheddar bay biscuit. Taste exactly like how I like it, lightly cheesey and doughy. I wonder whether it would taste just as good after it has been in the freezer for 23 days.

Sarawak Tomato Kway Teow CCF n Decades

*** Saturday 18 April 2020 d32 ***

 Tomato Kway Teow at long last. MYR 14.73 nett from SRK Noodle House. The kway teow has wok hei and taste the same as Wat Tan Hor except the egg gravy is replaced by tomato gravy - sweet and sourish which I like.

Dry mee pok at MYR 15.90 nett. I like the texture of the mee pok.

 12.30 noon, my share of mee pok so after eating this small portion, I was too full for tomato kway teow for lunch so have to keep the tomato kway teow for dinner.

 When I finally eat it at 4.45 pm, it has turned into almost kuih because the kway teow all stuck together but I like eating it this way, still very tasty but I was very full. Portion is too much for me, must share.

 Roast duck at MYR 52.89 nett. This is for the whole of next week. I was surprised to see roast duck on the menu of SRK noodle house when I was scrolling through the grab app for roast duck to order.

Total price is MYR 88.52 nett.

While waiting for the order from SRK noodle house to be delivered, my fingers went scrolling scrolling and press order to buy 2 sets of CCF which includes drinks from Decades, Happy Garden.  Upgraded one drink to tong sui by adding MYR 1 nett. Drink is lemon grass and Tong sui turned our to be red beans tong sui which I like.

 Both sets of ccf are the same except for a paper coffee cup that contains mushroom gravy with slices of mushrooms and slices of chicken meat. The drink, mushroom gravy, tong sui are well packed and didn't spill at all. I ate one piece of yam kuih before keeping my pack of ccf into the fridgefor the next day.

Need to follow schedule to finish all tenders by Monday so ate one tender (4 of 6) at 5 pm dipped in mushroom gravy to finish it too.

Local Red Dragon Fruit Charity Vegetables

I am down to 3 navel oranges. Instead of buying imported fruits, I thought to myself why not support local products so I ordered ten red dragon fruits and a watermelon from Organic Dragon Valley, Sepang which were delivered to me on Saturday 18 April 2020 d32.

I asked for a small red water melon around 3kg which costs MYR 8 nett.

The red dragon fruit is 2AA size which is big. One fruit can be shared by two persons. 5 x 2AA costs MYR 23 nett.

Sweet and juicy. One red dragon fruit filled up this casserole pot. This photo shows one third of one fruit.

This is the price list so total price for my order is MYR 56 nett.

This is the number to contact to buy the fruits. They sell potatoes 1kg for MYR 7 nett and corns too - 5 at MYR 10 nett or 1 at MYR 2.50 nett.

I saw this so I ordered one box of vegetables at MYR 40 nett to support this event.

The box was delivered in the morning. There are a lot of choy sum and big bok choy so I gave half to my neighbour.

Red Bean Buns

I love to eat red beans so now that everyone is buying loaves of bread until I could not buy any because there are none left when I walk to the shops, I am now buying these red bean buns. Gardenia red bean buns (6 buns in one pack) cost MYR 3.50 nett for a pack. Mighty White Red Bean Buns, also 6 buns in one pack cost 10 cents lesser at MYR 3.40 nett for a pack. Both buns taste good to me.

Cross section of a Mighty White Red Bean Bun - not too much red bean fillings so it is not very sweet. Good to eat one bun for snack when one is hungry to quickly stop the hunger.

Milo Cereal

Since I have the Milo Cereal now, might as well have a pack for breakfast (Tuesday 14 April 2020 d28). 36 grams of milo and cereal look like the above when poured into a bowl.

As I prefer it to be thick, I poured just enough hot water to cover it and stir. Add a slice of massimo wheatgerm bread to turn it into a chocolate malt bread. Good enough to last me till lunch time.

*** Friday 17 April 2020 d31 ***

1 pm - Fried the rice bought from Fatty Mok eatery yesterday with the last of the char siew from Boon Signature Roast Pork bought on Tuesday 31 March 2020 (d14), last of little gem lettuce, and mushroom. This large portion is divided into 3 portions - one for lunch and two for dinner.

11.50 am. I skip breakfast again due to reasons I myself don't know, just did not get around to eating breakfast and it was nearly lunch time when I finally get around to eating some food. I am lagging behind on finishing the KFC tenders. This is 3rd of 6 tenders and it has been in my fridge for 26 days since Sunday 22 March 2020 d5. I hope to get back on schedule by eating one daily so that I will eat the 6th which is the last one on Monday 20 April 2020 d34.

3.30 pm, tea time so eating this Strawberry and Custard McD pie (MYR 4.50 nett) which was bought on last Friday 10 April 2020 d24 so no more McD food in the fridge now. All cleared! I prefer the pie cold than hot because it is tasty when cold and I do not have to worry about getting a sore throat by eating hot pies. After that I ate half a Navel orange.

All food from Nam Heong were also cleared this morning when the last egg tart and last chicken pastry were eaten for Not-My-Breakfast which is quite good for food bought on d28 to be all cleared on d31. 

I did not eat the fried rice for lunch so I ate it for dinner at 6.30 pm. I prefer eating bread to rice.

Suhun Instant Green Bean Vermicelli

Tuesday 14 April 2020 d28 - Not-my-breakfast of suhun (which soaked up all the miso broth), little gem lettuce and 5 (cooked from frozen) sui gao. The suhun is thicker than tong hoon (glass noodles) and more springy so have to cook it longer in order for it to be softer.

Bought this A1 brand of Suhun (Instant Green Bean vermicelli) from the neighbourhood sundry shop on Saturday 11 April 2020 d25 for not sure how much because they did not give me a breakdown receipt although they accept credit card payments. From online store, the price is MYR 6.80 nett for one pack.

*** Thursday 16 April 2020 d30 (d2 of restart2) ***

9 am. My breakfast of one Nam Heong Chicken pastry cold from the fridge bought on Tuesday 14 April 2020 (d28) so it is 2 days old.

Although it is cold, the pastry is still very light and crispy until the crumbs flew everywhere. It is sweeter than savoury and the chicken meat fillings inside are quite chunky pieces so quite good.

9.10 am - Not-my-breakfast of Pepper Soup Pork Mee Hoon - MYR 7 nett bought from our neighbourhood coffee shop yesterday morning. I just ate a slice of liver, pork and stomach.

12.48 noon - We shared this lunch noodles with braised egg and pork - MYR 8 nett bought from Million Ocean coffee shop this morning. It is not very salty but the salty level is over what I prefer so I think I won't buy this again.

My share. I added in a brinjal with fish paste and a bitter gourd bought from Fatty Mok YongToFu. We (One of us went to buy because he drives while I stayed home) paid for 2 bittergourd ytf, 1 brinjal ytf, 2 crispy bean curd rolls and 2 tofu ytf at MYR 1.60 each and one big pack of rice at MYR 1.60 so the total is MYR 12.80 nett. Did not check so when reached home, it was found that they miss out the 2 tofu ytf. Oh well, next time must remember to check but then wearing a mask is not that comfortable so want to quickly get home to safety.
