On Tuesday 8.mar.22, we ordered 1 food delivery and 2 pandamart deliveries.
1.30 pm - our shared lunch of dry mixed beef Lai fun with beef soup from niu niu beef eatery in oug. Huge chunky firm tendons, thick tripe and firm chunks of beef meat. Very tiring for my weak teeth but the taste is good, strong beefy taste with herbs.8.50 am - our shared breakfast of pork mihun from niu niu eatery too. Huge piece of intestine. The liver is a bit too firm but the soup is very nice, taste like abc soup.
Total price of MYR 49.87 nett inclusive of delivery fees for 4 packs of noodles for us and the Elderlies so on average, one meal costs about MYR 12.49 which is reasonable. They left out the extra meatball so I reported it and received an e-voucher for MYR 5 off any future orders.
Bought gardenia wholemeal bread from pandamart for the Elderlies so ordered one pack of WA WA chai aka baby napa cabbage and one pack of 5 peaches.
Total price for 3 items is MYR 17.50 which is a better price than buying normal priced items at supermarkets.
2.13 pm - lemongrass aloe vera jelly from O&S coffee shop, bought on Wednesday, nearly a week ago. Nice jelly texture, not too soft and not too firm. Refreshing lemongrass taste. With this, all 5 types of jelly have been eaten but I still can't decide which is my favourite amongst:
1. Osmanthus jelly
2. Pandan jelly
3. Kwai Lin Gou jelly
4. Soya longan jelly
5. Lemongrass aloe Vera jelly
I think I prefer Santan gula melaka jelly which they don't make. Their jellies are very nice, just a tiny tinge of sweetness so will be suitable for the general public who is watching their sugar intake.
i must remind myself to try the Kulai Niu Niu beef noodles one day...
ReplyDeleteDo try the dry version. 🙂
Deletethanks for recommendation!
DeleteYou r most welcome!
DeleteThose innards especially liver must eat immediately. Cannot cook so long or else they will turn hard.
ReplyDeleteI passed on the tripe. Hehe
Ya, you are right. Oh, you don't eat tripe.
DeleteI miss the beef soup and noodle very much. Hubby would love the innards. I would love to try the lemongrass jelly.
ReplyDeleteWish I could try beef noodles. LOL :D
ReplyDeleteYou can't eat beef due to religious reasons.
DeleteYou have more variety of vegetables available on Pandamart. Psstt but cheaper on Shopee Supermart I think.
ReplyDeleteNot sure got shopee supermart near my place or not and does it deliver within one to two hours max? Lazy to look at shopee app cos used to pandamart and am familiar with pandamart vege quality. Don't want to risk getting low quality vegetables but thanks for the shopee tips but do you buy Vegetables using shopee ? I thought you go to shops physically to buy Vegetables.
DeleteShopee delivers next day only. Started out a lot cheaper than supermart but price has noticeably been increasing. Can always request refund if receive not-fresh stuff. I've been buying almost weekly.
