Fa Cai Pork Rib King

On Saturday 5.mar.22, we ordered two food deliveries to be sent directly to the Elderlies. As for ourselves, we ate the remaining food from the fridge.

*** Friday 4.mar.22 ***

11.30 am - Bought these two packs of noodles to try even though it wasn't written in the app what type of noodles they are because the stall in Fa Cai coffee shop just joined Foodpanda and the delivery fee is just about MYR 1 nett. The noodles are firm and a bit QQ.

 

Comparison between the noodles and wanton noodles which is on the left of the photo. The noodles are thicker, firm, no kansui aka alkaline taste, no eggy taste, are made of wheat I believe so anyone knows what type of noodles they are?

I was curious how stewed pork can be provided as soup option so I chose that. They sent dry stewed pork noodles instead so I guess there is no soup option. The pork rib king turned out to be deep fried slices of thick nam Yu marinated pork and the stewed pork turned out to be just two thick slices of stewed pork belly with layers of fats and meat. Ate these two packs of noodles over two days.

*** Saturday 5.mar.22 ***

12.30 noon - my lunch on Saturday. The frozen pork chili sui gao expiry date is 31 Dec 2021 so he quickly cooked them for me to eat because I have a stronger stomach. He tried one and the chili in the pork fillings is too hot for him. The noodles are from the previous day bought from Fa Cai stall.

12.35 noon  - longan soy jelly from O&S bought on Wednesday, 3 days ago. He said he can taste milk in it so he asked me to eat it all. I ate it and couldn't taste any milk at all. So weird that he can taste milk that I can't taste.

11 am - bought two types of congee from Chok Kar Chong eatery using Grabfood hotdeals to be delivered directly to the Elderlies for lunch. They like the fish grouper congee so next time they want both congee to be the fish grouper congee.

5 pm - Dinner ordered from Grabfood hotdeals again from the same eatery because the food they sell is cooked to the taste that the Elderlies like. The rice is pre selected by the app and when I tried to unselect the option, the app didn't allow me to do so. Ended up with 3 portion of rice so he went over to eat dinner with them. Food delivered directly to them in the rain.

6 pm - 3 of them having dinner together. One portion of rice looks like a lot to me in the bowl above but he said the Elderlies ate with gusto and finished up all their rice without much Ado. Guess we could order these dishes for their dinner again next time.
