On Tuesday 1.mar.22, we ordered 3 deliveries and he took lunch and bread over to the Elderlies.
*** Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice stall ***
11 am - I ate a small bowl of this pork ribs noodles for brunch. He ate the remaining portion for dinner. I didn't eat the chunky pork ribs at all, just ate the flat broad wheat noodles which taste good because they soak up the flavourful braised meat gravy.10.26 am - we shared this roast chicken, siew yuk and char siew rice for brunch. I added one braised hard boiled egg. Acceptable taste. The soup provided is boiled using pork bones so he drank it all as it is yummy!
12 noon - I bought an extra portion of rice for him to eat with the remaining chicken rendang from the previous day.
Bought from this eatery because it popped up in the PandaBox window.
*** Yang Kee restaurant OUG ***
He kept this mixed beef noodles for the next day breakfast. I ordered wrongly as usually we buy the dry version but I bought the soup version so it arrived in this two layered container with the soup beneath the noodles layer. I bought 3 packs of exactly the same item as 2 packs are for the Elderlies' lunch.
I ordered a beef tendon dish and scooped out half for the Elderlies lunch. The gravy is flavourful and the tendons are springy, QQ.
Bought massimo wholemeal bread for the Elderlies and filled up the order with crackers which is on offer at MYR 4.42 each when the usual price is MYR 4.80 in supermarkets. I used mart30 promo code to get a discount.
We all love it when the chicken has its bones removed. Then you could truly enjoy your chicken rice. :D
ReplyDeleteThat is very true.
DeleteAll the food you ordered look good and delicious. I have some tendon in my fridge, hoping to cook one of these days.

ReplyDeleteIf you like soft flat broad wheat noodles then you will like this noodle.
DeleteNot a fan of beef tendon. But I bet I would enjoy the pork ribs noodle.
ReplyDeleteOh, no tendons for you then. Just the pork ribs noodles.
DeleteI love beef tendon. I used to extra order at Pho Real when I eat the beef pho.
ReplyDeleteYa, the beef tendon is good for collagen.
DeleteWhy didn't you eat the pork ribs?
ReplyDeletePork is at the deepest bottom of my list to eat. I only eat pork if they want to throw the pork away or if there is no other protein and I need to eat protein.
DeleteOh ok. Didn't realise you don't like pork.
DeleteNot my preferred type of meat.
