Cereal Muesli

Way before MCO, I like to stock up on Post brand Great Grain cereal crunchy pecan (price ranges from MYR 17 to MYR 19 depending on whether there are promotions on the prices. Recently I bought yogood Macadamia muesli to try.

Yesterday I ate the yogood muesli oats for dinner and I put in too much dried cranberries (ocean spray brand) until it was very sweet.

Expiry Date for both Post and YoGood.

They even suggest two recipes. I just eat them just like that out of the box.

  1. During this MCO my wife unearthed all my muesli and ocean spray dried fruits in the freezer together with 3-4 packets of assorted corn flakes. I was hoarding them a year ago as if I knew I need them now. It's our daily breakfasts now. Yums!

  2. I ate quite a lot of these when I was in New Zealand - they gave to us for breakfast at the apartment where we were staying.

  4. I find that I prefer Asian breakfasts. My oats for overnight oats have been living in my fridge for a VERY long time now hehe.

But these are definitely healthier than Asian breakfasts so do keep it up!

    1. Time to eat your oats! don't know whether healthier or not because it is a lot of carb n sugar for oats n muesli despite having no oil.

    2. Conveniently left them at my Shah Alam apartment heh heh. Which seems so far away now during MCO.

    4. Yes, that's the reason why we bought the apartment at shah alam.

  5. Macadamia muesli sounds delicious. I sometimes also eat directly from the box or take with milk.

    1. Very little macadamia because one macadamia is crushed into smaller pieces in the muesli. I expected whole macadamia nuts so will not buy this again but stick with Post cereals.
