Joez Coconut

Coconut Jelly - MYR5.30 nett. I read a newspaper article that says the Coconut Jelly was made by slightly heating up the coconuts. No agar-agar or jelly or konyaku powder was used.

Joez coconut booth at KL Sentral - near to the Touch and Go Booth. They also have other items on the menu, for example, coconut shakes. I wonder whether this coconut shakes taste the same as the one in Sangkaya.

    1. The one you had looks like mixing the coconut flesh with the jelly.

  6. Oh, this is that famed one from Penang which you asked me to try after seeing my blog post on coconut jelly. Actually, it's very easy to replicate at home, now that I've tried making it :)

    1. You made it just by heating up the coconut without using any jelly or agar or konyaku powder?

  9. Why my comment missing? :/

I used to frequent their original shop in Penang. I don't think they have anything other than coconut jelly there. Or if they have, I never cared. Hahaha :D

    1. Have to keep them chilled or they will go bad because they don't use preservatives.

  11. Just heat up can coagulate the juice?? I went before to the KL Sentral Joez as a colleague wanted to buy. Good business. (I was too full to consider buying one for myself).

  12. I am impressed with this theory of just heating up and gets the jelly. Now it got me thinking hard how it could harden up.
