New Sarawak Laksa stall at PopCorn

I noticed this new Sarawak Laksa stall last Saturday (15 Feb 2020) at PopCorn Food Court, Midvalley Mall.

This is the menu. Looks good with reasonable price.

So I ordered mee sua chicken at MYR 10.90 nett. The mee sua and mushroom is a bit on the salty side. The soup doesn't have any wine in it and the chicken drumstick is a bit on the tough side. Overall, it is ok.

Stall 8A Sarawak Laksa by PLH Global Enterprise.

My friend ordered watercress soup MYR 7.30 nett and Steam Rice with chicken and cloud ear fungus for MYR 9.90 nett from Kim Zen stall.

Total price of the food from Kim Zen stall is MYR 17.20 nett.

*** breakfast on Sunday 16 Feb 2020 ***

our usual eatery, Friendship cafe is filled with people so we ate breakfast at Old Ipoh Cafe nearby. Jumbo curry noodles at MYR 15.80 nett, plain horfun soup noodles ar MYR 4.50 nett and white coffee o at MYR 3.80 nett. Prices are higher than our usual eatery but it is for the convenience.

total price is MYR 24.10 nett.

*** late lunch on Sunday 16 Feb 2020 ***

Pork noodles at MYR 6.50 nett, roasted chicken breast meat in mee hoon soup (customised order) at MYR 6.50 nett and a glass of hot tea at MYR 0.50 nett at New Lian Hin coffee shop at Happy Garden, KL.

*** 14 Feb 2020 Friday ***

Saw this makeshift stall selling Valentine's Day gifts on the night of 14 Feb 2020 (Friday) at Jaya Shopping Center. Guess it is for last minute purchases. Do you like to receive gifts like this on Valentine's day?

  2. Not easy to get Sarawak Laksa here. I love mee sua with chicken soup but I prefer it with wine.
