My friends wanted to eat at Nyonya Colors (old wing), One Utama but the car was parked at the new wing so we went to eat at Little Cravings (new wing) instead because both eateries are from the same company.

Please click on the above photo for a larger image. Kochi Pulut Hitam (MYR 1.35), Lepat Pisang (MYR 1.40), Lepat Ubi (MYR 1.40). The last unlabeled item on the right is Kochi Nyonya which I have eaten and shown here.
Please click on the above photo for a larger image. Otak-otak (MYR 2.85), Kochi Santan (MYR 1.40) which I have also eaten and shown here, Pulut Inti (MYR 1.55) Pulut Sambal (MYR 1.60), Pulut Panggang (MYR 1.45).
In the end, I bought 7 items - ate 4 items during lunch and was full so I kept 3 items for the evening. I ate the sago rose and talam cendol without remembering to take close up photos. The Talam Cendol tastes of gula melaka.
Pulut Sambal - the sambal is not very spicy. The glutinous rice is soft yet a bit springy.
Otak-otak (savoury) on a daun kaduk (Piper sarmentosum) before being wrapped in a banana leaf.
Cross section (Otak Otak).
The following 3 items are eaten in the evening.
Lepat Ubi - sticky and sweet with a strong brown sugar taste. Luckily my friend ate half to save me from the heavy sweetness.
Kochi Pulut Hitam - strong taste of pulut hitam which I like.
Pulut Panggang (savoury). The dried shrimps coconut flakes filling is not that spicy so I can buy this to eat again.
Spent MYR 10.60 nett just for these 7 items.
Wow! So many kuehs! I wouldn't know which ones to choose. And the price is very good for 7 items.
ReplyDeleteI will try to try all of them one day.
DeleteOMG so many different kuihs for us to buy. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how their production system is like to product so many types of kueh.
DeleteNice name! I so love these kuehs!!! Never been to 1 U, somehow nobody ever took me there,
ReplyDeletethe MRT train stops at 1U now. Very convenient!
DeleteI like all their kuehs... pay a bit more for the quality!
ReplyDeleteThe majority of their kueh are very tasty except for the angku which I find the skin to be too sticky.
DeleteToo many to know which to choose. But one of my favourite is otak otak!
ReplyDeleteThis otak otak is tasty too!
DeleteSo many kuehs, so many temptations! My favorite would be red angku.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the red angku here because the skin is too sticky. Prefers the ones from aroma nyonya sold at melaka corner in one Utama.
DeleteYep I always have a hard time choosing! I noticed people like the fried items also but never tried those.
ReplyDeleteCucur udang is tasty!
