Signature Mee Pok (MYR 8.50 nett). The mee pok is tossed in lard oil and there are many pieces of deep fried lard on top of the noodles.
Hainan Tea at MYR 4.20 nett. Stir Fried Fish Noodles and Chee Cheong Fun at MYR 8.90 nett which I find to be a little too wet. The only saving grace is that there are as much crunchy beansprouts as there are noodles.
Total price: MYR 21.60 nett for two pax for breakfast at about 9.30 am.
Since it was still 2019 CNY day 13, the two red lanterns were still up at House of Fishball, Sri Petaling. Seems like business is enough because they are still here after more than 3 years.
Simple and clean interior. Oh I won't want my noodles and CCF to be too wet. Is that beancurd sheet inside the soup?
ReplyDeleteYes, you are correct!
DeleteI am interested to try the Hainan tea. :) Looks different from the normal ones. :)
ReplyDeleteThe top is frothy this one.
DeleteI would not be able to decide which to choose...so I will have both. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteAh, you are a big eater then!
DeleteThe mee pok sounds like something I would like. No, no to wet noodles but I like my noodles with plenty of beansprouts. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteGood that they gave a lot of beansprouts here.
DeleteThe Stir Fried Fish Noodles and Chee Cheong Fun looks good. At first I thought it was CKT. I prefer fried noodles that are fried until dry.
ReplyDeleteSame here.
DeleteClean place to have a decent meal. Hmm. I don't mind pork lard on top of noodle.
ReplyDeleteClean enough. Wasted on me though.
DeletePictures look good for all the items you ordered. Some people do like wet fried noodles, though that's not to my taste either.
ReplyDeleteI prefer wet types to be those Cantonese hor fun stir fry.
