Ko Hyang is my friend's favourite casual K. eatery so we ended up eating here quite frequently. After trying their pancake, spicy ramen, and saba meals, this time I ordered Lamb BBQ at MYR 23.90 nett. As usual I kept half the portion for dinner. My friend who tried a few slices of the lamb feels that it is too sweet due to the sauce used to marinate it I guess.
Total Bill for 4 pax is MYR 62.90 nett because 2 friends shared 1 set of Kim Chi Ji Gae with an extra bowl of plain rice at MYR 2 nett.
I'm not into Korean but I like this! Wrap the meat in the lettuce and eat, very nice!
ReplyDeleteThey gave only 1 piece of lettuce.
DeleteI love their Korean food. I bet they are always full house everywhere because the food quality is good and tasty.
ReplyDeleteThe stall in Gardens LG is closed - either undergoing renovation or closed, not sure.
DeleteI like Ko Hyang but it was better when they were just opened compared to now.
ReplyDeleteStill, good food and value there.
Not sure to compare with which K eateries for price.
DeleteI will eat with lotsa rice to neutralise the sweetness. I heard of Ko Hyang quite frequent. I tink it is kinda popular choice for K-food?
ReplyDeletePopular with my friends.
DeleteI don't mind the lamb but hope not too sweet for me. I pass on the kim chi. Hehe
ReplyDeleteI think may be too sweet for you.
DeleteI like lamb but definitely not too sweet, i think i have not tried korean pancake yet
ReplyDeleteThis lamb marinate is sweet.
DeleteI seldom take Korean food but I like their sidedishes especially the fried pancake!
ReplyDeleteThe fried pancake is sold as a main dish here.
DeleteTaste is up to the individual. Some like it more sweet, sour, salty...
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree it is up to the individual.
