The value meal set is too good to bypass so I ordered a bowl of wanton noodles soup with a glass of iced honey chrysanthemum drink from the set menu. This set included a char siew bao and the total price is MYR 15.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 17.50 nett). As usual I kept half portion of the noodles and the whole bao for dinner.
One of my friends ordered from the ala carte menu and the total price for 4 pax is MYR 86.25 nett making it an average of MYR 21.55 nett per pax spent for lunch during a working day.
If me, I will choose the chicken cutlet rice set, as I am a rice person :)
ReplyDeleteVery worth it leh got free 1 drink and 1 bao too, I wonder SG branch got such promo or not
DeleteOh, they have braised chicken drumstick rice set too? I like that too
DeleteI guess SG branch should have some kind of lunch promo if not exactly the same as above.
DeleteOh? This franchise? They've opened an outlet here not too long ago. Haven't gone to check it out but looking at those prices, I think I'd just give it a miss.
ReplyDeleteWhen compared to the prices around here, the price here is ok.
DeleteAfter reading this post, I must make it a point to go to the one at 1 Utama.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, looks like you have a list of eateries to try in 1U, Mak Chee, this and then the original cake.
DeleteGood deal to me.
ReplyDeleteYes, seems like quite a good deal.
DeleteI also have eaten in 2 outlets. They are good and reasonably priced too.
ReplyDeleteThe price is not too high.
DeleteLooks good! I am sure you will find the set very filling!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have to keep the bao for another meal.
DeleteI'll go for the noodles but I'll only eat the bao. LoL. The noodles I'll pass to Ayden.
ReplyDeleteGood to share food around.
DeleteLunch sets are always so worth it!
ReplyDeleteBut most of the time, the food in the lunch set is too much for me alone.
DeleteI almost never have that problem hehe. Anyway worst case can tapau.
